Good to see that those PV Courthouse bailiffs are right on top of things and that the safety of everyone in the courtroom is paramount on their minds. Marissa stormed in and smacked David across the face and no one did a thing to stop her. WTF do they do when someone comes in with a knife or gun (I doubt anyone has to go through a metal detector) or simply starts assaulting people? Oh THERE he is (singular). The bailiff doesn't make a move until the judge TELLS him to, though. What if the judge were being attacked? Would the bailiff act of his own volition then, or would she have to play charades with him while she's being choked or shot or whatever like in "Young Frankenstein" when he's trying to get his assistants to give the creature a sedagive (aka sedative).

After David goes on and on about how he loved Greenlee and how Ryan was supposed to take the fall for his death because he was trying to steal Greenlee, blah, blah, blah, and Marissa goes on a tirade against David, and David starts to lambaste the onlookers in the courtroom for drinking to his demise, etc., THEN the judge says he's only supposed to stick to the facts. How did she get appointed as a judge? Did she win the seat on the judge's bench via a box of Cracker Jacks?

Jesse says that they are waiting at the courthouse for a ride to the station. Aren't the PVPD, the Mayor's office and the Courthouse all in the same building? I know that the Mayor's office and the PVPD are.

Is Spike's school having a Thanksgiving Day pageant? Why would they do that ON Thanksgiving when most people have other things to do that don't involve bringing their little ones to school?

EXCUSE ME??? After the verdict, Jack states for the record that he wants the jury polled. After a snotty outburst between Jack and Liza, the Judge gets in a snit and says SHE is satisfied with the jury's verdict and they are free to go. WTF? She can't do that! The verdict could be overturned on a technicality, I think, if the Defense asks for the jury to be polled and the judge DENIES it. Also, the jury didn't even fill out any forms about the verdict. The forms not only have to be filled out, but the judge has to give them the once-over before the verdict is read to make sure all the T's are crossed and I's are dotted and the forms are signed. I call BOGUS!

Okay, I'll have to chime in and say I didn't see THAT coming, either. Oh, I had strong suspicions that David might not really be dead, but I figured it would be a long while before we found out -- unless this is someone's imagination, in which case he's still "dead". If he IS alive, then, all things considered, someone's probably going to turn around and off him again.

JAR says the beach house has a "good energy". Really? Then how come the only stuff we've seen going on there has been BAD energy? Every time eBabe goes there it is or ends up being a bad energy situation. And really, given all the bad energy that emanates from both JAR and Annie on any given day, even without the beach house factor, that place practically vibrates with bad energy.
BZZZZTT!!! Liza cannot enter surveillance footage into evidence like it's a Perry Mason moment. That has to vetted OUTSIDE of the presence of the jury. The Defense may want to have its own experts verify the authenticity of the tape, for instance, and both sides have to argue its merit or lack thereof so that the judge can decide if its probative/inculpatory/exculpatory value outweighs the predujicial/inflammatory influence, etc., in the interest of the defendant getting a fair trial.

OBJECTION! Liza is editorializing, testifying and leading the witness. She's just off on her own rant. Jack doesn't even object. Greatest lawyer in the world, huh? I don't THINK so.

I can't fathom why, in this day and age, some parents to opt to not want to know the sex of their baby until it's born. You're going to find out eventually, after all, so why not be prepared with names, color-themed items, etc.? It seems to me that not knowing it ahead of time just means you have more to do and decide upon at exactly the time that you need to devote almost ALL of your time to the baby. Nostalgia can be nice, but people didn't know the sex of their baby ahead of time in the past because there was no way TO know.

What is that black and silver thing draped over the chair on the right in Erica's living room? I'd almost say it's a dress, but it's straight up and down. Straight up and down is Greenlee's style, but not Erica's. It's also extremely narrow, even for La Lucci. Is it a wrap or decoration?

Why are people (and particularly witnesses and murder defendants) allowed to wander into courtrooms after hours? They could be planting bombs or peeing in the corners or putting thumbtacks on the prosecution chairs or just plain snooping into things they should not be seeing.

I know Liza is on a fishing expedition, but aren't they just on a break in the courtroom? If so, wouldn't she be concerned that someone will see the DA drinking, even if she's just pretending to drink to cozy up to the sleazy witness. BTW, she's now TAMPERING WITH a witness.

Krystal commiserates with eBabe, telling her that she's been sitting in on Greenlee's trial and it's hard to take and how lives are laid open about personal matters, etc. She conveniently leaves out the times SHE'S been in the courtroom and how she ended up going to prison for a while.

The way Annie reached out and grabbed JAR's forearm to keep him from leaving made me chuckle. One of our cats, Sassy, does that sometimes when I've been petting her for a little while, and then I make a move to leave before SHE has decided it's okay for me to stop petting her. Yes, I am still allergic to cats, but it turns out that I can at least pet them as long as I wash my hands right away.

Ryan reading the letter means NOTHING. Liza has to put the sleazy guy and the people who wrote his termination letter on the stand and have them read their own damn letters or at least stipulate to having written them. Having Ryan read it means nothing whatsoever. She needs proof that the man was actually fired and that Ryan had anything to do with that firing. She got the story out of Ryan, in any case, but it was not done by proper procedure.

With all that said, it's nice to see Ryan and/or Greenlee FINALLY get a little karmic payback for their thoughtless and totally unnecessary lark of conning a hotel room (and a lavish meal, I think) purely for their own selfish entertainment. Most of us here were appalled by it at the time. They were so smug and self-satisfied at having pulled one over on the hotel, despite the fact that they were both (I think) millionaires.

Jack is concerned that Greenlee didn't get any sleep the night before. He says he would have offered to come over and watch a movie with her. Is he freaking KIDDING me? Most lawyers in the middle of a MURDER trial get very little sleep and have no time to watch movies with their families and/or clients. Jackson has been handling this by the seat of his pants from the get-go.

Is is UP with eBabe? She goes to the Chandler mansion practically every single day to get something for AJ, confronts either JAR, Annie or both of them in the living room, then becomes outraged and storms out. She almost NEVER accomplishes the ostensible goal of why she's going over there in the first place. She getting to be quite a hag about it. I think she WANTS to find a way to start a fight for the sole purpose of storming off in a self-righteous huff over, of all things, all the drama. I'm beginning to think she may be just a tad hypocritical.

As a patient, I know I would feel SOOO much better know that Kendall Hart Slater had cleaned my room at PVH. I'm sure the room is quite sanitary once she's done with it and picks up all the stuff she's thrown on the floor (and reused), and my sense of personal safety is bound to be uplifted knowing that I'm surrounded by criminal elements with hearts of gold working off their community service in and around my room, the food preparation area, the Morgue, the Pathology Lab, the Maternity ward, the Cardiac Unit, Intensive Care and, of course, the Level 4 Infectious Diseases wing.

Erica always makes a speech when she's a witness in a trial, whether it's someone else's trial or her own. And she always gets away with it.

Annie is an employee of Chandler Enterprises. She's the head of PR. Wouldn't she have a salary to fall back on, or can they freeze that, too?

Angie is worried about Jesse's blood pressure. Jesse tries to ignore her about it. Long-time watchers of AMC remember that his very own Uncle Frank, after whom whom Frankie is named, died from a stroke after an ongoing storyline of HIM having high blood pressure. I still remember when he died -- it shocked the shit out of me! He died very suddenly on a TUESDAY. Who (on a soap) dies on a TUESDAY?

If Liza doesn't want anyone to know she's in the hospital, why doesn't she insist they draw the privacy curtain around her bed?

I was stunned for a moment when Caleb was talking to Palmer's portrait -- I thought he had his dog's head stuffed and sitting on the mantelpiece. Turns out it was a photo. Wow, that is a VIVID photo! And I don't even have HD TV.

Liza is supposed to be rehydrated. So why doesn't she have an IV in. There's an IV there, but it's not connected, unless it's stuck somewhere where the sun don't shine. Maybe she's just absorbing it through the air, like it's a vaporizor with a really tiny outlet for the steam.

Liza tells Damon that when Jenny came along in high school and became her competition, THAT is probably when she started to fight. Oh please! Liza has been a feisty bitch from day one. Of course, I think we didn't know Liza existed until Jenny came along, but you don't get to be the way Liza was back then without a LOT of fighting/domination. She wasn't popular for her personality -- the rest of the girls were probably scared scrunchy-less to oppose her in any way. She definitely fell into the category of "Mean Girls".

Flub of the day: Liza referred to Jenny as "Jeanie".

I see Erica FINALLY got her new digs finished and furnished. Unless those are Jack's new digs. I like the set, in any case.

Tidbit: Greenlee is in cell number 4.

Are we really supposed to feel warm and fuzzy because Ryan gave a key to Madison? How many times have we seen him symbolically give a key to the multitudes of women in his life? Not that any of them NEED a key since he conveniently leaves one under the planter in the hall.

Jack argues that Greenlee has family and friends and a business to run in Pine Valley and she's not about to leave all that. Oh really? She's done it before, more than once, and WITHOUT being in a coma. I don't know how he can say that with a straight face -- oh wait, yes I can. He's a lawyer.

Chandler Enterprises has already had a big press release about the nanotech project. You'd think Caleb, if not Erica, would have instantly figured out that THAT was at the crux of the whole "stealing from a dead man" thing.

I HATE it when men on soaps manhandle women! JAR has grabbed Annie's arm over and over in the last few days. Considering her own track record for mayhem and all she has lost, he should really think twice about how he treats her. Then again, if anyone on a soap ever thought twice about something, there would be no storylines.

The Assistant Coroner (should that be Assistant Medical Examiner?) was paid only $10K to falsify the documents? THAT was the bribe? OH PUH-LEEZE! He had to be in REALLY desperate financial straits to put everything on the line for a measly $10K -- you can't even get a new car for that!

It doesn't MATTER if Greenlee was at the center of part of the case against David. It wasn't ABOUT whether or not she lived, it was about David falsifying records and bribing an official. Her testimony would have NOTHING to do with those charges unless she wanted to testify as a character witness during the SENTENCING phase after a verdict had been reached.

Then Liza begs the judge for just FIVE MINUTES alone with Greenlee. The judge says no. Again, WTF? Someone just barges on into court, DEMANDS to be allowed to testify, and no one knows what she's going to say and the judge just goes with it and doesn't allow the lawyers to get even a CLUE as to what she's going to say? What is this, Perry Mason? IOAS, IOAS, IOAS ...

And THEN Liza says that, in light of the new developments, the defense rests. WTF? No one even QUESTIONED Greenlee! There is no proof whatsoever to what she said, and, again, KENDALL has nothing to do with the charges against David. And even with all that said, had Greenlee's testimony been in any way shape or form admissible in the first place, then Liza should not have RESTED -- she should have asked that the charges relating to covering up Greenlee's death be dropped. As it stands, the jury can still decide if David is guilty or not guilty. If the charges are dropped, the jury only has to decide on the Adam issue. he DA should also have objected or called for a mistrial. Greenlee is CLEARLY there out of spite, after all AND she is married to the defendant. That calls for some in-depth examination as to her motives for being there, but the DA didn't make a peep. IOAS, IOAS, IOAS.

Annie is married to a billionaire who has a limo driver at his disposal, and they live in a big mansion with a crack [snort!] security team, servants, etc., but little Emma STILL has to fend for herself at a bus stop for school?

OT: My apologies for my absence. I am 6 days behind on AMC! It's not unusual for me to watch 2-3 episodes at once, but this time I've been delayed by a new vice -- watching The Tudors starting from episode one -- now THAT is a soap opera! Every time I would tell myself to start catching up on AMC my willpower would weaken and I would watch another episode of The Tudors (On Demand) instead. I'm about halfway through season 3 now.

Back to AMC, Annie, fresh from her high of testifying before congress, is gushing to JAR about how great she feels and how worthwhile they made her feel. She's planning from now on to talk to children about being kind and generous. As if any parent would want their children being influenced by such a narcissistic homicidal psychopath.

Erica tells Kendall that she and Ryan ended their romance LONG before they even knew Greenlee was alive. Yeah, it was at LEAST a day, and possibly even TWO days before they found out she was alive.

While examining Nurse Gayle, the DA asks her if she was aware that, while under the influence of the drugs she gave him, Adam shot and killed Stuart, Liza vehemently objects and says the facts are not in evidence. A short time later Adam is testifying and the DA asks if it's true that Adam shot and killed Stuart while under the influence of the drugs, and Liza doesn't bat an eyelash. What facts came into evidence in between the witnesses?

If this case can make or break Liza's career, why aren't their any interested spectators? Most of the usual characters are elsewhere doing whatever they are doing and there aren't even any extras in the courtroom watching. Maybe this case isn't as important to her career as Liza seems to THINK it is. She doesn't even have an assistant.

Annie invites eBabe to come with her and JAR to the dinner at the British Embassy where the President will also be dining. Uh, if the President is going to be there, wouldn't people have to be investigated or, at the very least, INVITED through official channels in order to attend? For that matter, why is ANNIE being allowed to go. Just because she donated bone marrow and testified in front of Congress doesn't mean she isn't still a homicidal nutcase who could be a threat or, at the very LEAST, an embarrassment and unnecessary distraction.

Why does Liza always do something stupid like falling asleep on the couch the night before a big court date?

And Ryan, the loving father. He spends what could be his last night with his daughter within his custody, the last night before the big court date, with his daughter spending the night at a friend's house and him spending the night in Erica's bed. And did it not occur to him how often Annie has manipulated Emma and how she would sneak around to get to her? Annie could EASILY have gotten to Emma while Emma was spending the night at a friend's house! Hell, Annie can easily get to Emma in Emma's own BEDROOM, but at least if Ryan were there he could have taken at least MINIMAL precautions! If nothing else, how about he and Liza spend a little time PREPARING for the case? Or just HE prepares for what he's going to say? Silly me -- NO ONE prepares for court in Pine Valley.

Why didn't they just have Opal say what was on ALL our minds when she "sensed a masculine presence" in Erica's rooms and especially coming from the bed? She was smelling EAU DE SEX! You don't need ESP to figure THAT out, just a working NOSE!

I was really hoping that when Colby turned around after showing Annie her innocent little schoolgirl jumper outfit that we would see that the jumper was assless and Colby was wearing nothing but a thong under it, because her little act was so transparent.

Here's the big stumper about Colby and the clothes she was going to wear to the courtroom: WTF was Colby planning to go at ALL? If she hates Annie, what's the point? For that matter, why were Scott, Erica, etc., in court at ALL? Aren't custody hearings generally closed to the public? I could see how MAYBE Scott and Colby might have to testify as far as them both living at the mansion, but that was never an issue in the first place. Erica has NOTHING to do with Emma's custody unless it's somehow intertwined with the fact that she sometimes stays with her GRANDCHILDREN, one of whom is Emma's brother.

Is giving angst-ridden testimony about how much ANNIE needs EMMA really the best approach for Annie? Ryan's testimony was about what was best for EMMA. Annie's testimony was all about ANNIE.

I see now that that is definitely the same little actor(s) playing Junior Junior. He DID have an impressive growth spurt, though, and he's talking more clearly and assertively.

The court announces that they are there as the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania vs Annie Chandler. No you aren't, you ignorant TWIT! It's the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania vs Anne _____ Chandler, with the possibility of her maiden name, first married name and second married name thrown in for good measure. Unless "Annie" is the name on her birth certificate, with no middle name, that is NOT her legal name.

What a LOUSY judge. The DA is screaming objections and the judge COMPLETELY ignores them. Objections are on the record. They MUST be dealt with, one way or another. That's how appeals are won or lost. Then Annie and Erica get into an Objection fight. It goes on for a while and all the judge does is lamely bang his gavel ... eventually. Then the DA objects to questions Annie is asking Erica. The judge does not respond. So far, the only objection the judge has responded to is the one Annie made that had no foundation and he lectured her on that fact. Pathetic!

It's interesting that Adam, who was on trial for MURDERING his brother, had a trial that lasted mere minutes with hardly any witnesses, yet Annie, who is merely charged with covering it up, has LOTS of witnesses. Has ANYONE mentioned any actual EVIDENCE? You know, dead bodies, DNA, trajectories, phone records, medical and police records, stuff like that? The OPINIONS of other people regarding the cover-up are just that -- opinions, and irrelevant ones at that. The opinions of lay people have no place in the courtroom. It doesn't matter if they want her to fry, other than how it might be used to discredit their testimony as being prejudiced. The ONLY question is whether or not she did it. The consequences are up to the law and the judge. In any case, this should not have been a matter to even go TO trial -- it should have been pled out in the first place.

That's a really STUPID gag in Kendall's mouth. You'd think that Aidan, Mr. Sooper Sekret Special Forces Espionage Agent and all-round street-smart guy (insert image of eyeballs rolling so hard they pop out the sides, bounce around the room and land back in the sockets, only to roll some more) would know how to tape someone's mouth shut. That's the kind of gag someone buys in a costume shop and it looks like she could dislodge it by clearing her throat. In fact, she doesn't even have to do THAT. Her upper lip was sticking OUT of it, FGS!

I thought it was hilarious when Aidan told Kendall: "You know what? I caunt understand what you're saying." ROTFLMAO, considering that even after all this time, few people can understand what HE'S saying most of the time.

Damn, these trials are SOOOOO STUPID! Annie asks for a summary dismissal and it's granted without any grounds even being given. I know, I know, it's only a soap (chant, Robin, chant: IOAS-IOAS-IOAS), but one can only suspend disbelief just so much!

For someone who was in a hospital bed just this morning, Annie is amazingly energetic and bouncy. Of course, she was that most of the time past that first day of hemorrhaging (You ever try to spell that word? It's not as easy as you might think).

OT: OMG, I am SOOOO far behind. I'll spill. I'm having a JOYFUL romance. Some things are falling by the wayside right and left and I'm having trouble keeping up lately, but it's definitely for a good cause! I have NOT abandoned AMC and Boogie Chillens, though -- I'm just a little slow to watch them lately. And now, on with the show, albeit a week behind ...

When Liza said she had one little piece of advice for Tad The Cad and his re-entry into the dating pool, how many of you thought she was going to say: "When you DO find the right woman, DON'T sleep with her MOTHER"? For you newbies out there, when Tad and Liza were in high school, Tad The Cad wooed her and she surrendered her virginity to him. She was in love with him. Her mother, OTOH, had some different lovin' in mind; Marian in SERIOUS cougar-mode, voraciously seduced Tad, giving him gifts, etc., so he was banging both Liza AND Marian. He was quite the busy Town Lothario, all right!

Annie demanding that Liza tell her the trial strategy and EXACTLY what Adam will say on the stand is the first believable and realistic thing that's happened in this whole legal saga.

I know it's a volunteer situation and you take what you can get, but is having a male doctor treat possible rape victims in a shelter for abused women really the best choice?

I think I'm getting the dates mixed up here as to which show is on which date, so please bear with me. That can happen when one gets behind AND has two versions of the same show (ABC vs Soapnet).

If the interview with Zach has been in evidence since day 1, why did Liza have to submit Nurse Ratchett's statements as Exihibit A? Don't they know how to count or alphabetize?

Well THAT was probably the fastest verdict in the history of television. I think they took a whopping 30 seconds! Oh please! The jury didn't even get instructions from the judge. They didn't even have time to introduce themselves to each other or pass out the forms, let alone SIGN them. I think I would have been happier if they had just not shown ANY of the trial and just told us about it after the fact.

I agree that charging him with first degree murder was totally bogus. There was no INTENT to murder his brother and there were no circumstances whatsoever that justified that particular charge.

Is it just me, or is Stuart's father sporting a barber-shop quartet hairstyle?

How many times did Liza say "Listen" in the last couple of days? Are we seeing another Brooke on the horizon?

How can they POSSIBLY have a trial when one of the defendants/witnesses is stuck in the hospital? This is LUDICROUS!

And now Zach has been called to testify in the trial. He's being subpoenaed NOW. The trial starts in a few MINUTES and Zach is only just now being notified. Uh huh. Un-f**king-believable! Can't they even try to PRETEND this resembles anything having to do with court or laws or attorneys or the TIME SPACE CONTINUUM? What is this, The Simpsons?

What did Ryan do, stuff a sock down his pants? Again?

OH NO! Joe is saying goodbye! He's talking about retiring and he and Ruth leaving town. Joe wants Jake to take up where he left off. He's passing the torch. Gee, foreshadowing much? I guess we know who WON'T be moving Los Angeles with AMC.

JAR says he's going to wait until AFTER the trial to start chemo. He figures the trial will only take about two weeks. Only in PV! Two weeks? Maybe. They seem to be forgetting the months and months and months of preparation and court schedule backups that happen BEFORE that two weeks. But wait -- the trial is TOMORROW! Adam and Scott were charged with the crime basically "yesterday" and TOMORROW is the trial? It's taking me longer than that to watch a handful of episodes of my soap!

And here's EXACTLY what I was talking about. Liza is representing Adam, Scott AND Annie at the same time. Now she is advising one to throw the other one under the bus (Scott vs Annie). She can only protect ONE client involving the same crime and anything else is a HUGE conflict of interest! Talk about appeal issues! Of course, in the real world, she wouldn't have been allowed to do it at all.

Annie is going to the courthouse dressed like THAT? Oh wait, she had no idea she HAD a court date -- because she DIDN'T! Jesse just shows up on Adam's doorstep in the morning and informs her that he's there to take her to court for her first day of trial. In what universe do they not bother to TELL a defendant that they have to be in court for the beginning of their MURDER trial? Or is she on trial for one of her many kidnappings of her daughter? Or stabbing Erica Kane? No one thinks it might be considerate, if not prudent, to INFORM her of her court date so that she has time to, oh, I don't know, PREPARE for it?

I wouldn't blame Liza for a SECOND if she reports that Kendall is not really in prison. Liza would be in big trouble, herself, if she knew that and didn't report it, attorney-client privilege or not. When the news gets out, people will think she was in on it.

Annie DOES actually change into something that looks school-girlish, albeit in a low-cut kind of way. Then she walks in and wonders where the jury is. Uh, if you're going to have a jury, you're going to have jury SELECTION, and the defendant, I believe has to BE there for that. Then Barry Shire informs her that they've elected to have a bench trial (judge only) instead of a jury. Uh, again, Annie, as the f**king DEFENDANT, would not only KNOW that, she would have to sign consent/request forms to that effect AND the DA would have to have agreed to it (at least I think they would).

Oh, she IS on trial for murder, kidnap, assault/attempted murder and I think at least one other thing. Nothing was FORMALLY even read in court regarding the charges. The judge mentions them, but no full names, individual charges or case numbers are ever mentioned.

Oh PUH-LEEZE! Why would Annie put the incriminating DVD in a drawer in the LIVING ROOM when she has an entire mansion, including tunnels, to hide it? Like a desk drawer lock is going to stop anyone but a child!

Kendall continues to be too stupid to live. Liza finds out about Kendall's escape and hideout and Kendall just canNOT keep her yap shut. Zach goes out to do some damage control, and Kendall just lights into Liza, needling her about how happy she (Liza) must be now.

Angie is mighty chipper for someone who stayed up all night dancing and handling family crises. Annie is, too, but she's crazy. Adam, OTOH, should be near death's door after an all-nighter like that. Pretty much everyone that's on today that was at the marathon is bright and chipper, though, even though they haven't even gone to bed or, if they did, they only got a couple of hours of sleep.

I don't know much about ankle bracelets, other than what I've read. Can they really be cut off with a $2 pair of scissors? Isn't a special tool needed to remove them?

I see Taylor still isn't locking her DOOR, either. Tad just walked on in. I'll cut them a little slack today and choose to think that Tad has his own key, which WOULD make sense in the current scenario. Then I kept watching and Amanda (who also would have a reason to have a key) just walked on in (without using a key). So we're back to Taylor not locking her door. Idiot.

Why doesn't anyone on a soap ever worry about wrecking the blinds by suddenly yanking them apart to peer out as if the blinds were made out of rubberbands? They do that all the time. Most of the time they are "peeking" out to spy on people or see if they are in danger. I've had blinds in my abode off and on -- you can easily slide ONE slat slightly out of place and see out without damaging anything -- you don't need to suddenly bend and spread a bunch of slats so that you have 6" of open space to see through. In this case, Kendall was doing it in the interrogation room (again with inappropriate/weapons-potential items in an interrogation room), so she wouldn't necessarily care about wrecking them, but I know she'd do it at home, too.

Does Liza plan to cross-examine Emma? They can't just spring a witness without giving the other side time to prepare. No one likes to cross-examine a child or a mother -- they are usually biased and it is VERY easy to look like you are beating up on someone who is very vulnerable. Many mothers of serial killers will tell you that their son is a good boy or brag about their various skills which, by themselves might, indeed, be admirable ("my son is an EXCELLENT carpenter and he's VERY good with computers!"), but they might also be of interest as far as M.O.s go (he built a very high-quality guillotine, along with an spiffy soundproofed underground bunker which he monitors 24 hours a day with a webcam, microphones and motion-sensing equipment, and he archives every second of every day in the bunker on high-capacity, solid-state hard drives).

If Emma has been discharged, why isn't Ryan with her? Oh, and she was NOT catatonic for several days, as Liza asserted. She refused to talk, but the key word there is REFUSED. She was perfectly alert, cognizant of her surroundings and willing to talk when it suited her.

They managed to seat a DEATH-qualified jury within the space of about 10 minutes? You can't even get a shoplifting-qualified jury selected in less than at LEAST a couple of hours, if not half a day (possibly longer if you are Winona Rider). Jury selection for the average murder trial takes several days and maybe even longer if it's a big case.

Oh puh-leeze! Why would a courthouse have a bathroom with an easily-opened window, especially considering a) how often prisoners escape, and b) the fact that most people have to go through a metal detector to get into a courthouse?

That is one sneezy little baby. He sneezed in a scene last week, too. Maybe he's allergic to unsecured homes -- he's in for a VERY sneezy future, if that's the case.

Going on the run with a child who wears a Cochlear Implant will make it a little harder to go incognito. I can just see it now: Be on the lookout for an exceptionally skinny, big-eyed woman wearing scanty clothing that reveals a heart transplant scar. She may be accompanied by a toddler (male) and a 3-yr-old (male) -- the 3-yr-old may have an auditory assistance device attached to his left ear and he often babbles like an incoherent toddler.

Did you notice Ryan scratching his head near the end of the show? He did it so vigorously that it made me wonder if he had head-lice. It also IMMEDIATELY reminded me of his occasional chimpanzee mannerisms

Why would Jake and Amanda bring the baby to TAD's house? I mean, David walks in there on his own more often than he goes to the bathroom. Why didn't he just put Amanda and the baby up in a hotel somewhere under an assumed name? Or just have Amanda and the baby stay with the nanny (who seems to be quite accommodating, even if she DID totally ignore Jake and Amanda)? They could go bunk with Kelsey or Tara while Jake worked and told people that Amanda went off to grieve with her brother -- ANYTHING other than taking the baby to the one place where David is SURE to pop up uninvited.

Erica tells Ryan that she's been to prison, so she certainly knows what Kendall is facing. Uh, so does Kendall, who also happens to be a convicted felon (perjury landed her at least 2 years in the State pen, where she met JaNut From Another Planet).

When did seagulls start hanging around the Chandler estate? We had seagulls circling the field at my high school in San Jose (we're not REAL far from the SF Bay, but not real close, either), so the fact that seagulls are there is not that big a deal, but today is the first time I've HEARD seagulls (as opposed to the standard bird chirps they usually use). How long before we find out that Adam's boathouse is actually a private dock on the Pennsylvania Ocean?

How much you want to bet that the fact that Kendall was willing to plea to a lesser charge in exchange for a 10-year sentence comes out at trial? It's not SUPPOSED to come out (take the David Westerfield/Danielle Van Dam trial, for instance), but I bet it DOES.

Liza tells Krystal to tell David that if he gets anywhere NEAR her baby, she'll file an injunction against him. Yeah, that'll stop him.

Hmmm, looks like the suggestion I heard was right (was it on RATSA or the Pine Valley Podcast comments?). Jake just offered up a solution of doing a DNA test on the baby to prove it is not Jake's. Amanda doesn't recognize Liza's baby as HER baby. Ergo, that baby is NOT Amanda's baby, and her baby IS somewhere else. Either that or Jake is going to take Krystal's cue and doctor the DNA test. I really hope we don't see HIM leaving the lab tech's office while wiping off his mouth as the tech pulls his pants up in the background. Of course, Jake has also had more than one mysterious phone call in which he seems to be referring to the care of a baby, but it's ambiguous.

I just LOVE how David Canary portrays Adam as always HISSING like a snake. He says: "Well, it's not too far-fetched if you put Zach Slater in the mixssssssssssssssss." He doesn't ALWAYS do it, because that would be overkill. It's like he just throws them out there just to remind us every now and then. LOL!

Is Annie allowed to leave the house unless it's on the grounds? I thought house arrest meant you couldn't go more than a few feet from the house. I know nothing about ankle bracelets used to track arrestees -- do they have to take reasonable precautions not to get it wet (like covering it up for showering)? If so, going into a pool could be problematic. Then again, they wouldn't be very effective if that's all it took. FF to later in the show and I was right about the first part -- the pool IS out-of-bounds for house arrest.

How is Colby planning to feed the baby, considering there's nothing IN the bottle? I can see where she might have gone to fill the bottle and THEN taken the baby from Liza, but it's kind of stupid to try to fill the bottle while holding the baby. And then a few seconds later she comes BACK with the crying baby. I'm assuming he's crying because he STILL hasn't been fed. He gets fed and burped (and possibly diapered) even faster than Randi takes a shower!

Liza can't be Kendall's lawyer. She a) recently slept with Kendall's husband, and b) more importantly, she is ANNIE'S attorney. Annie was also at the mansion that night and is a witness, if not a suspect. Also (on Annie's behalf) Liza is retained by Adam Chandler, whose brother was murdered and who was, himself, the original target. There's a HUGE conflict of interest there, and no court would ever, EVER allow that!

YOWZA! Ryan's sporting quite a man's camel-toe there! When he picked up the bag of whatever it was in the living room the camera slowly panned up from the floor. WTH? Is he wearing some kind of Wonder Thong? Do we really need to see THAT? He looked kind of smug, too, although that's not an unusual expression for Ryan. Here's a screenshot of his camel toe:


How did Adam get up to the Fusion office without taking the elevator that Kendall just used to descend from the office? And if Annie is being grilled by Jesse, why is Adam over at Fusion blasting Erica? Shouldn't he be hovering outside the doors to the living room so he can be there to escort Jesse out when he's done while he huffs, harumphs and hisses? And how did he get all the way to Fusion from the living room while Annie is still standing there talking to Jesse?
