Boogie Chillen, Monday - 5-6-13

Now we know that Kendall and Zach are actually DIVORCED, not just separated.

Celia reminds a little bit of a Christina Ricci.

Zach thinks that Cassie has been kidnapped for human trafficking purposes.

David was NOT about to strangle JAR at the end of Thursday's show. He was checking JAR's carotid pulse. Dixie saw him, though, and is convinced he was about to strangle him.

Bianca is an IDIOT to leave Miranda there in JAR's bedroom for the night. An I.D.I.O.T.  Why? Because Miranda now has a more urgent need to PROVE to others and HERSELF that she's not a lesbian like her mother. And there's AJ, all besotted (not to mention hot and bothered) with her, giving whatever comfort he can.

I recall Bianca (before coming out) wanting to prove she wasn't really a lesbian by going out with a boy and trying to force herself to have sex with him. I think maybe Leo interrupted them at the boathouse (AND she had changed her mind, but the guy didn't want to stop).

BC - Thu, 9/1/11

I have simple templates that I use for Boogie Chillens on USENET, one with spoiler space and one without. I just changed the month in the templates from 8 to 9. It's just so sad that there won't be a change from 9 to 10 :-(

I'm glad they at least took Chandler Enterprises away from JAR.

Dixie told Tad that, deep down, JAR is a good kid. She thinks they (she and Tad) did good. No you didn't; JAR IS AN ASSHOLE! It's not like he's a good-guy with momentary lapses into ASSHOLE mode; he's an ASSHOLE MOST OF THE TIME, with momentary lapses into good-guy mode.

BC - Mon, 8/1/11

AJ was at the park with eBabe. Tad found JAR in the park, gave him a lecture and then said he was going to go get AJ and take him home. The next thing we know, Tad goes back to Krystal's to meet up again with Cara, and he has AJ in tow. Does eBabe know that Tad even HAS AJ?

Erica was dragged out of Dixie's room (twice). Why would they then put her in the room right next to Dixie?

Why did Griff tell Kendall that David may possibly have Zach stashed away somewhere? You'd think he would know by now that Kendall is nothing if not impulsive and that both she and her mother's go-to solution when they are pissed off is VIOLENCE. Guns, knives, drugs, pillows--whatever it takes or even just whatever happens to be handy at the time. Kendall, in particular, has a long history of using the threat of lethal violence to try to force people to cooperate with her, whatever her current obsession happens to be. Oh sure, both she and Erica usually wield whatever their current weapon of choice is in a very feminine manner while wearing the latest fashions, but the bottom line is that they often follow through with a very unladylike result. You know that, sure as shit, Kendall is going to go after David and try to force him to tell her whatever he knows about Zach.

BC - Mon, 4/4/11

Okay, I can hear the montage song now for when the baby has to go back to its biological mother (during May sweeps?):  You Picked A Fine Time To Leave Me, Lucille ...

What kind of cabbie (other than a child molester) picks up a 7-8-yr-old girl by herself, drops her off by herself with no intervention whatsoever by any adults?  And why aren't any of the adults questioning it?

Ryan makes Emma apologize to Greenlee and Greenlee says she doesn't have to and that it's partly her own fault for not keeping a better eye on Emma.  Bullshit!  It is NOT okay!  And no, Greenlee does NOT have to worry about Emma sneaking out again because Greenlee is going to have bars put on Emma's doors and windows so Emma isn't going ANYWHERE the next time she's alone with Greenlee.

I LOVE that Emma is going off on Greenlee in that someone has to, but as a general rule, it's better to put the kibosh on that kind of behavior.  I would NEVER have gotten away with that when I was a kid, traumatized or not.  Given all Emma has been through with her interchangeable alternate parents, though, she's amazingly well-adjusted.  Even so, if I were Greenlee, I would take a pass on Emma making me breakfast in bed for Mother's Day.

BC - Thu, 3/31/11

Cara calls Jake and tells him that Angie had the baby and it was not delivered in the hospital.  Jake tells Amanda (with whom he has been making out) about it.  Amanda says:  "You make calls, I'll drive!"  Then they leave.  Uh, where's Trevor?

This baby story is making me SICK!  Jesse and Angie's baby DIED, and not only does Jesse hand over the abandoned baby to her as their own, but he has Brot bury his bio daughter ... where?  A state park?

I know Jesse is overwhelmed and realizes he made a really stupid decision (and involved Brot in it), but this is SO wrong on SO many levels!  You'd think he would have at least thought back to when Frankie was a baby and his father-in-law was the kingpin of a baby-stealing/selling operation.  Jesse and Angie had to go through a lot just to get Frankie back after her father convinced her to give the baby up (he then SOLD Frankie).  The birth mother will want her baby back eventually and Jesse won't have a leg to stand on now that there is technology to identify DNA.  For that matter, for all they know, the birth mother was NOT the person who put the baby in the car.  What if someone stole her baby from HER and then did that?  They know NOTHING about the baby.

Jesse has to make this RIGHT!

BC - Tue, 2/15/11

Uh, if there's a gas leak in the attic, JAR should considering (upon rescuing her) moving both eBabe and himself a little further from the attic than 2.5'. It's not like the air is going to be much fresher there, especially since the door to the attic is still open.

Greenlee sends Emma through the Fusion bar (admittedly empty) out to the patio to get her makeup bag. When Emma doesn't return, Greenlee tells Ryan that Emma is probably just playing with her makeup. Oh yeah, Greenlee's going to make a GREAT step-mommy.

Did Colby bring a change of clothes to the beach house? I only ask because she's not wearing the same clothes as when she was handcuffed to the table. Of course, after being handcuffed to the table for all that time, I can certainly understand why she might NEED to change her clothes.

Now JAR and eBabe are down in the living room and JAR calls someone to tell them to shut off all gas lines to the attic. Uh, why are they still in the house? If they managed to move all the way to the ground-floor living room from the aforementioned 2.5' from the attic door, what was a few more feet to the outside? Idiots. Did they bother to notify Lucretia before she lights the stove?

O.M.G! I paused the Tivo long enough to type the paragraph about them needing to go outside considering, you, a GAS LEAK, and when I press Play again, JAR is pacing in front of the LIT FIREPLACE!!! These people really ARE too stupid to live!

How did Krystal manage to whip up a wedding cake on such short notice. I'm thinking she went to Costco or Sam's club.

WTF did Colby insist that she and Asher play strip poker (other than to show them in states of undress)? That came out of left field. Oh ... that's why (she escaped -- Asher was keeping her from interfering with JAR and Annie).

Shouldn't Colby's arm be not only checked out, but photographed at the hospital as evidence that Annie handcuffed her to the table? I suppose that could be done at the PVPD, but Liza should have insisted on it from both aspects, as a mother and a DA. Of course, the beach house is now a crime scene. They'll have some 'splainin' to do as to why Asher kept her there after freeing her from the cuffs.

I hope Annie gets pulled over for not having Emma strapped in.

I have to say I'm surprised David allowed Annie to go. What did he do, give her his car? I hope he has an ulterior motive, such as arranging for her to be caught. Did he send her to his little cabin in the woods? If so, the cabin that tiptoed down from Mt. Evangeline into the middle of town must have tiptoed back up the mountain. He could see that Annie was unspooling and that even Emma could tell something was very wrong. As evil as he is, he doesn't strike me as someone who would deliberately endanger a child, yet it appears that he was complicit in doing just that, just to get back at Greenlee and Ryan.

BC - Wed, 12/23/10

Kendall having mental problems at Christmastime (or any other time of the year, for that matter)? Say it isn't so!

Who will Father Clarence visit this year? We all know that Angie needs to miraculously regain her eyesight, but she also needs to have a late-in-life baby with jeopardy attached or at least some challenges. So will Angie go another year blind and catch Father Clarence during Christmas 2011. Will Kendall get some sort of healing visit from him this time? She seems to be the one who needs a miracle the most.

OMG, I just had an AWFUL thought! Is Kendall going to try to have grief sex with Father Clarence??? You know how she gets. OTOH, maybe he just sent the two new hunks (oops, at first I typed "hungs") her way so that she can have a selection.

I'm glad Madison at least protested that Greenlee COMPLETELY invaded her privacy by looking at her hospital records (after Greenlee had the gall to say "Might as well just be honest with me". Greenlee, of course, just shrugs it off by saying: "What's done is done," and then moving on to her own agenda. Madison should sue Greenlee's rich, self-entitled ass!

Jake says he just talked to the little boy's mom in the waiting area. WTF? I'm used to regulars just dropping their kids off at doctor appointments so that they can further their storylines by running into other people, but this is ridiculous. The mom is just sitting in the waiting room waiting for her child to trot out? Does PVH have a rule that parents are not ALLOWED to be in the exam room with children? If nothing else, the opportunity for the child to be abused in one manner or another is wide open. Parents in Pine Valley get an F.

Angie hired someone she's never met before on the spur of the moment because PVH was DESPERATE for more doctors. Amanda shows up later in Jake's shift and he pulls rank to go off with her, since there's not much going on there, leaving Cara, on her first day, to take up any slack. After all, it's not like there is any increased chance of an influx of people coming into the Emergency Room due to, say, people attending Christmas parties and then driving drunk and causing massive pileups on the icy roads, or perhaps a food court collapsing at the mall because it can't hold the weight of all the onlookers when a flash mob suddenly starts singing Hallelujah.

Um, how many times is Kendall going to try to kill people that she thinks killed or almost killed her loved ones? Geez, that's her go-to solution for EVERYTHING.

Uh, Cara was a BLOND, with the pale complexion that usually goes along with that. This Cara most definitely does not look like the original. I don't even remember what the original looked like, other than that she WAS very blond. And dull. She was so dull that she's not even listed in the credits, although I'm pretty sure she was on the show right before Jake left.

So Madison is pregnant. Yay.

BC - Mon, 10/11/10

Ah, NOW I see Susan Lucci's new cheek implants. Yup, summer "refreshment". She said Jack had made her BLISSFULLY happy in the last few months. Apparently he's been stuffing her ... cheeks.

Was Kendall's dress packaged in a plastic Egg casing before she put it on?

Why would anyone want to buy from or invest in a company that is CONSTANTLY in dire straits? Fusion has had it's top executives murdered, kidnapped, on trial, in jail, in prison, on the run after escaping from prison, they had all of their computer data completely wiped out, one of their former top employees is a whackjob multiple murderer (Annie), the co-founders keep disappearing for a months or even years on end, they've sold tainted products that made a lot of people sick, they've been shut down by the SEC, and their products are needlessly expensive.

Jackson tells Greenlee that the papers are calling her the "Green Widow". BWAHAHAHAHAA! That's a good one!

Something looks odd about that bench. Oh, I know -- it's not tagged! I guess Pine Valley doesn't have much of a gang problem, other than that nasty Fusionista gang.

I can't help it. I just can't take Scott seriously. Adam Mayfield, the actor playing him, is just so HAMMY all the time. He's constantly striking a pose, even if it's just with his face. It takes me completely out of the story every time I see him.

Annie makes it clear to Colby that her daughter is her priority in all this, and she doesn't want her getting hurt. Really? Annie's number one priority is ANNIE. If Emma was REALLY her priority, she would never insist upon continuing to live at the Chandler mansion and she would not have had sex -- again -- with JAR. For that matter, she wouldn't have married Scott so soon after her breakup with Adam.

Erica points out that Greenlee went RIGHT for the good sheets. That's Erica Kane's residence -- aren't ALL the sheets "the good sheets"?

BC - Mon, 9/27/10

Why would Bianca hire Asher to teach Miranda to do computer stuff and leave her ALONE with him? She has no idea who Asher is. You'd think someone in her position would have a background check done on someone before giving him access to her child/children and unsupervised access to a computer with Cortlandt business files on its hard drive.

eBabe is going to sue for custody of AJ. Gee, what a surpri-- oh, I can't even type it ...

Obviously Erica is about to make a reappearance. I haven't look at her Twitters, but when they mentioned how many people follow her, I had to wonder how many of those followers (on their real-life Twitter account) are fake.

I suspect Ryan was talking on the phone to Jack about Greenlee's legal situation, since Jack and Erica are about to return to town anyway.

BC - Mon-Tue, 9/13-14/10

Kendall accused Greenlee of intending to send Erica to prison. Greenlee, who was "coming clean" about everything to Kendall and Bianca, said: "No!" Uh, YES. She absolutely, unequivocally intended for Erica to go to prison; I remember she and David discussing it and chortling gleefully over the prospect.

Amanda, Jake and Tad go over papers David filed in an effort to get rid of Angie. Tad says that it's too bad she chose to continue to practice medicine even though she was losing her sight. Jake: "She should lose her CAREER over this?" Uh, YES. I don't have a hate-on for Angie -- I like her a lot, in fact, but she DID screw up.

If someone is about to be fired for practicing medicine while blind, why would having all her friends there to testify as to what a good person she is make a difference? Why would they all be allowed in the ROOM, even? It's not like it's a public court hearing. If they are going to speak on her behalf, it should be one person at a time with the others waiting in a different room. And Greenlee SHOULD be there, considering that she is on the Board (or a proxy should be there for her; she WAS widowed only the night before, so I imagine they could cut her some slack). Does the Hospital Board consist of only three people?

Now all Angie's friends and family are clapping for her after she defends herself. Angie stands there, noble in her refusal to accept being "handicapped". It was a nice speech, but is that really the place for her own entourage to be applauding her as if she just gave a rousing valedictorian speech? And her being handicapped is not the issue. She didn't fess up to it and put the hospital and patients at risk. She also, most likely, put others at risk of catching whatever she has. They made a point after a LONG time to say it was not contagious from HER, but they made a HUGE point of the fact that it was EXTREMELY contagious from the patient from whom she caught it. As she stood there looking noble and self-righteous, I thought of the speech Otter gave in Animal House and how all his frat brothers stood up and hummed the national anthem as they marched out in a self-righteous huff of American pride, which had nothing whatsoever to do with the issue at hand.

Why aren't a bunch of OTHER doctors and medical personnel in the peanut gallery? Yes, there are letters, but the presence of someone other than her friends and family might indicate that someone cares enough to do more than write a letter or sign a petition.

Why didn't JAR call eBabe when he realized AJ was missing, if only to find out if AJ went to HER?

Ryan bursts into the penthouse and informs Madison that he didn't do it -- he's FREE! Hold on there, Ryan -- you didn't BEAT him to death, but there's nothing to indicate yet that you didn't manage to get a lethal dose of Digitalis into him.

If Ryan was arrested for murder, wouldn't they have gotten a search warrant to search his place immediately?

Madison must have left the hearing the second she finished praising Angie, because the hearing was still going on when Madison was at Ryan's place.

Why did the Board make JAKE read the letter from David? That's just plain STUPID and totally unexplained. Was it so that the actors playing board members wouldn't have to be paid for the number of lines that needed to be spoken?

A vial (an empty vial) of Digitalis was in Ryan's coat pocket. You KNOW it was planted.

I wonder if Mayor Blanco had anything to do with dosing David. Yes, she was pugnaciously in David's corner in all things, but what if he had something on HER, too? Maybe she was sick and tired of doing his bidding, politically speaking. So why would she plant the vial in Ryan's pocket? Why not? At least it's not HER pocket.

Then again, the medical access to liquid Digitalis steers it back toward Nurse Gayle. Of course, ANYONE in town can get access to ANYTHING they want, one way or another, so that puts the Digitalis ball back in everyone's court.

In an AMC historical note, Digitalis was used to kill off David Thornton back around 1978. David Thornton was also a doctor (and cardiologist at that, I think). He tried to kill Edna Thornton by putting Digitalis in her wine. He was treating her for heart problems and he thought he could get away with it because the Digitalis would be untraceable (apparently they've figured out how to trace it since then) and it would mimic (or cause) a heart attack . He and Edna were distracted by something and little Dottie Thornton (6) playing around, almost drank from it, then quickly put the glass back, inadvertently trading the places of the wineglasses. David died from a heart attack brought on by massive dose of Digitalis.

Ryan swears to Kendall that he and Greenlee are over and done and they will NEVER be a couple again. He can't handle it. Blah, blah, blah. How many times have we heard THAT? He and Greenlee and Kendall should all just find a place where polygamy is legal and marry each other, because that's all it's ever going to be. Yeah, Ryan will have sex with multitudes of women, but he ALWAYS ends up with one or the other of them. Always.

I'm seeing a lot of "soap moments" lately. A character enters a room, poses and says something that may or may not be important and there's ... a pause. I think organ music should make a comeback on soaps, because it's really too silly with modern versions of musical undertones. Scott has been particularly noticeable lately in his soapy entrances. It makes it very hard to take him seriously. Not that I ever take him seriously, anyway.

David made electronic trails in setting up Greenlee (calling the pilot from her cellphone, moving money around, etc.). I know we're supposed to believe he can have that all magically disappear, but it's stupid to think that's all possible, especially after this amount of time. Are we supposed to believe that a major phone company doesn't back up their data in innumerable ways and many different locations, nor does a bank or major financial institution? They DO have disaster recovery plans, ya know.

When Scott told Annie that he was glad she liked the dress he gave her because he had a matching one (for Emma), how many of you thought he was going to say he had a matching dress for himself?

Why would JAR and Marissa choose a PUBLIC RESTAURANT to tell AJ that they are splitting up? People sometimes do that to break up with others, hoping that the other person will have the good taste not to "make a scene". That often doesn't go well, with someone ending up with a drink or food all over them or a screaming matching (or a gun makes an appearance), so why would they put a 6-year-old through getting news like that in public? It may be Grandma's restaurant, but it's STILL a restaurant.

Caleb is awfully blase about the fact that smoke-afflicted Miranda, who is limp in his arms, may or may not be breathing as he tells Angie (who is, naturally, having a blind moment (and possibly a blond moment)) that SHE must save Miranda.

BC - Mon-7/26/10

Tad asks Jesse if he thinks Liza would lie about something like THAT (Damon kissing her). Uh, Jesse might not be the most unbiased person to ask that question, considering that Liza accused him of trying to rape her (or actually raping her?) way back in the day. Uh, yeah, she WOULD lie about something like that.

How did Colby's dress manage to survive the trip to NYC completely unwrinkled from the moment she whipped it out of her suitcase? It must be one of those Harry Potteresque suitcases where it looks like a suitcase on the outside, but on the inside there is actually an entire closet with hangers, shelves, shoe compartments, valets and tea-towel-clad house elves laboring over little tiny steam irons.

Well it's about TIME they let us in on the fact that Liza has been replacing Damon's pills with something else. I couldn't figure out how it was that Damon could not notice that the pills were GONE. At least she's giving him placebos and not some other drug. Then again, since she's getting them from David, God KNOWS what they might contain.

Colby and Damon have already been in one car accident -- hasn't it ever occurred to Liza that Damon's impulsivity could cause any number of bad situations to be inflicted upon her daughter? Apparently not.

Oh PLEASE! That is SO not a month's supply of pills David gave to Liza. If they were LITTLE pills that might be the case, but those are pretty good-sized pills and they don't take up much space in the bottle. How hard would it have been for them to fill it up to a believable volume?

Why is Tad so high and mighty about Damon and Colby being in a hotel room in NYC in a state of undress? They ARE both adults, after all. Yeah, they shouldn't have taken off without telling anyone, but showing up at the door is sooooo tacky! Oh well, at least, for once, people didn't just burst into what would normally be an automatically locked door, although I'm sure they WOULD do that, rather than knocking, if it were not unlocked.

Ah, Tad is pissed off that Damon kissed Liza. Really? THAT is why they drove to New York to break up the young lovers? They had to interrupt the kids in BED for that? Damon had to be dragged out shirtless for THAT? Don't these people have ANY dignity at ALL?

Why is ANYONE allowed to see Ryan if he just got out of surgery after having a brain aneurysm operated on? He should be in ICU or, at the VERY least, have his visitors controlled. David should not be allowed ANYWHERE near him. Neither should Greenlee, for that matter. Even Madison is questionable. ALL of these people could stress Ryan out.

I LOVED how Tad glared at Liza and the way he showed her the photos on the phone.

Did the Joe and Ruth sell their house? I'm surprise David didn't snap it up just to spite Tad and Jake. It would be too tacky (in his view) to live in for long, but you would think he would buy it just to deface it and then tear it down because he's just THAT petty.

I was glad to see Ryan wince after yelling (good naturedly) after Madison. Just before he winced I was thinking that must hurt to yell like that in his condition.

BC - Wed, 7/21/10

Scott and Annie went all night and well into the next morning without him answering her about getting married? I find it hard to believe that Annie was willing to wait that long. Actually, I find it hard to believe that ANYONE would wait that long without at least DISCUSSING why they were waiting to answer.

I also find it hard to believe that eBabe didn't realize that it was morning and she had been up studying all night (apparently everyone in the house was up all night for one reason or another). Is she that oblivious to AJ?

Wait a second -- it's theoretically morning in PV -- so why is everyone gathered for a party (with cake) for Damon when they should be thinking about breakfast? IS it morning? Is it in the evening of the next day and neither Scott nor JAR was home all night or all of the day? What the hell TIME is it? Okay, FINALLY Damon mentions that it's lunchtime. So that means eBabe still hasn't checked on AJ since the night before. And since there was no peep from them and everyone else, including Krystal, left the house, Kathy and Jenny were apparently not even invited to the Welcome-To-The-Family party for Damon. Nor was Opal. If I were Damon, I'd consider blowing off the lame-ass party, too.

Scott gets a ring and proposes to Annie at the yacht club in front of JAR and eBabe and, at the last moment, Colby. Scott says doing it in front of family makes it even MORE special. WTF? The Chandler family is TOXIC! Would YOU want family members like them around when you proposed to someone, even if you knew what the answer would be? JAR, especially, is likely to sneer and say something really nasty to ruin the moment. At least eBabe has a touch of class, even though she's probably pricing guns and/or divorce lawyers at this point.

As part of his proposal, Scott tells Annie that she's all fight and fire and that when she wants something, NOTHING stands in her way. Uh, YEAH, she kidnaps, stabs and MURDERS people (that's PLURAL persons) that get in her way. I'd hardly call that an ADMIRABLE trait. All things considered, Scott looked like a total imbecile (to me) proposing to her with his face all glowing with love and sincerity. I think I'm going to HURL!

Liza is clearly obsessed about how Tad hurt her by having sex with her mother when Liza was a teenager. It keeps coming up between them. She is NEVER going to let that go, so why is Tad staying with her? If she can't get past that, then their marriage is going to be miserable. Well, given how much of a stone cold bitch Liza is and how Sanctimartinous (tm) Tad can be, not to mention the fact that they live in Pine Valley, it will be miserable in any case.

Okay, so now the adoption papers were signed "weeks ago" (when Damon kissed Liza) as opposed to "last night". I think AMC is on the wrong channel -- it should be on a science fiction channel.

BC - Mon-Tue, 6/21-22/10

Why is the wood-chopping block so close to Caleb's cabin? Is the outhouse located just outside the camera view?

Did you notice that Erica's heartbeat didn't change one iota when Jack asked her to marry him again?

Don't the terms of the contract between Greenlee and Erica (re the contest) spell out the rules, including SPECIFIC dates or events? Greenlee can't just choose an arbitrary date to declare herself the winner when things look bad for Erica when Erica hasn't launched her OWN product. Is Greenlee's product ready to SELL, and SHIP right NOW, for that matter?

Greenlee informs Bianca that she and her husband own PVH and she can go wherever she wants. BZZZTT!!! Wrong, Greenlee! You have NO rights when it comes to doing whatever you want and barging in on any patients in the hospital against the wishes of their families just because you are the majority stockholder. I could stay at the Paris Hilton hotel, but that wouldn't give Paris or Nicky Hilton the right to enter my room any time they wished. Greenlee's not even a DOCTOR, so she has no rights whatsoever other than as it relates business activities.

JAR says his family is EVERYTHING to him -- as he gets up and tries to, um, deflate after rolling around on the ground in the middle of the park with Annie. Neither of them can believe they are getting so carried away with lust. Neither can I. They are DISGUSTING, amoral and idiotic. I don't believe for a SECOND that JAR ever can or ever COULD run a multi-national corporation when he hasn't got the self-control of a FLEA and makes one stupid decision after another. Say what you will about Bill Clinton and his sexual escapade, but at least he was able to multi-task.

If JAR realized that he needs to be there for his family BEFORE he went to the park, then why was he rutting on the ground at the park with Annie? That was one short-lived realization.

Bianca was like a daughter to David at one time. HE was the only one she trusted when she found out she was pregnant after being raped. She insisted that HE be her doctor and he was very protective of her. So why would he DRUG her now? Lovers come and go, but you don't do that to children to whom you've been a father figure. He is DESPICABLE!

BC - Mon, 6/7/10

Damn! I thought I had posted this last Friday, but I guess I got sidetracked.

Annie assures Scott that Palmer is gone, so he has nothing to be ashamed of as far as STEALING the invention. The f**k he DOESN'T! He's stealing from Palmer's heirs! Yes, Scott was also in on it, but he should be SHARING whatever profits come out of it.

Did you catch Annie referring to the "gossip mongrels" at the Yacht Club? Uh, that's "gossip MONGERS", Annie.

I'm only now doing a BC for Monday of last week, so stuff has probably already happened, but I'll comment anyway. Let's see, Annie rushes out, Scott leaves, having scribbled a room number at the YC. AJ wants to go out and play on Emma's new swing set and JAR tells him to go ahead. JAR sees Annie run out (she IS planning to get a room for her and Scott, but Scott is meeting someone else there first). JAR sees what Scott wrote down and hightails it out of there, too. I notice he didn't bother to tell anyone that is now completely unattended. On the new swingset. What could POSSIBLY go wrong?

Why hasn't Ruth ever given Grandma Kate's bracelet to any of Tad's many wives or any of Joey/Jake's previous wives or Tara or one of Jeff's wives?

JAR is SO pathetic chasing after Annie. He's such a jerk. Ugh! There is nothing likable about him OR Annie together, and this constant pushmepullyou between them is extremely annoying. Their behavior is not even remotely believable. "I HATE YOU -- DO ME!" Oh knock it off!

AMC - Boogie Chillen, Monday - 4/26/10

JAR gets mad after Annie leaves the room to tuck Emma in. He grabs an empty glass, screws up his face and smashes the glass into the wall. Nice going, A-hole! Now there are shards of glass all over place for the kids to cut themselves on.

I'll never understand how these people can fall asleep on the floor after having sex in front of the fireplace. Yeah, I can understand the sex part, but falling asleep on a hard floor cannot possibly be comfortable unless maybe you're a dog.

Does anyone ever sit on the Pillsbury dinner roll couch near the Fusion elevator?

When Greenlee said to Madison: "What's the job?", did anyone else flash on Lily Von Schtupp (Madelaine Kahn) in "Blazing Saddles" saying the same thing to Hedley LaMarr (Harvey Korman)?

BC - Tue, 1/19/10

When the show opened and Erica busied herself bending over some files, Ryan walked behind her and admired her ass. How many of you said: "OMG, he's going to butt-f**k her? Too far? Come on, you KNOW some of you were thinking EXACTLY that ;-)

Are we ever going to see Dr. Bender? He's paged CONSTANTLY at PVH.

If Ryan wants "no games", neither Erica NOR Greenlee is the woman for him.

eBabe asks David WHY he lied about being sick and dying. He gives some reasons, but then says that the reasons don't really matter -- what matters is that he lied to her. I beg to differ -- reasons as to why he lied matter a LOT. If he lied to PROTECT eBabe from something, for instance, that might be forgivable. If he lied so he could go away and stop being such an asshole to everyone he meets, that might be forgivable. But he lied in order to trick a woman into doing all KINDS of things, binding her to him and keeping her from the man she TRULY loves, and to keep a baby that the KNEW was not his. THAT is not forgivable.

In this case, I think Jake punching David out was ENTIRELY justified.

BC - Fri, 1/8/10

Why does Liza always do something stupid like falling asleep on the couch the night before a big court date?

And Ryan, the loving father. He spends what could be his last night with his daughter within his custody, the last night before the big court date, with his daughter spending the night at a friend's house and him spending the night in Erica's bed. And did it not occur to him how often Annie has manipulated Emma and how she would sneak around to get to her? Annie could EASILY have gotten to Emma while Emma was spending the night at a friend's house! Hell, Annie can easily get to Emma in Emma's own BEDROOM, but at least if Ryan were there he could have taken at least MINIMAL precautions! If nothing else, how about he and Liza spend a little time PREPARING for the case? Or just HE prepares for what he's going to say? Silly me -- NO ONE prepares for court in Pine Valley.

Why didn't they just have Opal say what was on ALL our minds when she "sensed a masculine presence" in Erica's rooms and especially coming from the bed? She was smelling EAU DE SEX! You don't need ESP to figure THAT out, just a working NOSE!

I was really hoping that when Colby turned around after showing Annie her innocent little schoolgirl jumper outfit that we would see that the jumper was assless and Colby was wearing nothing but a thong under it, because her little act was so transparent.

Here's the big stumper about Colby and the clothes she was going to wear to the courtroom: WTF was Colby planning to go at ALL? If she hates Annie, what's the point? For that matter, why were Scott, Erica, etc., in court at ALL? Aren't custody hearings generally closed to the public? I could see how MAYBE Scott and Colby might have to testify as far as them both living at the mansion, but that was never an issue in the first place. Erica has NOTHING to do with Emma's custody unless it's somehow intertwined with the fact that she sometimes stays with her GRANDCHILDREN, one of whom is Emma's brother.

Is giving angst-ridden testimony about how much ANNIE needs EMMA really the best approach for Annie? Ryan's testimony was about what was best for EMMA. Annie's testimony was all about ANNIE.

BC - Thu, 11/5/09

Geez, talking about a JUMP! One second Erica is trying to get the truth out of Adam while Annie, Ryan and Jesse are yelling in the hallway, and the next thing we know it's the next day and Annie is on the phone making wedding plans (for tomorrow)! The pacing on this show has gone completely to hell over the last year or so. I can't tell you how many times I (and others) have wondered if we missed a day, to the point where we peruse the "Recently Deleted" folders on our Tivos trying to get a sense of continuity!

When David was giving his press conference and Jake smirked and started to step away from his position in the crowd, was I the only one who suddenly had a vision of him stepping behind David and putting pointy fingers over and behind his head to give David devil horns?

Nice little dig Angie got in at the press conference, saying she wants to follow in the footsteps of JOE MARTIN as Chief of Staff.

So, how long will it be before Scott and Annie make a baby in order to convince Adam that Annie is going to have ADAM's baby next year?

Ryan sneers at Scott and says: "I wish you wanted justice for your father as much as the rest of us!" What a crock of SHIT! NONE of the people pushing for Annie/Adam as the culprit are motivated by justice for Stuart -- NONE of them! Ryan hates Annie and wants her as far away as possible from Emma and out of their lives. He also wants Kendall back home. Zach ONLY wants Kendall back home. Erica wants Kendall back home and secondarily wants whatever Ryan wants because of their budding relationship. Plus, Erica hates Annie for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is that Annie STABBED her. Jesse wants ... well, I'm not sure WHAT the hell Jesse wants. As a Chief of Police, he wants justice served, but he's gone so far over the line to get Annie to confess or Adam to spill that any idea of justice has long since fallen by the wayside as the ends justifying the means.

Now that Ryan knows Emma witnessed Adam shooting Stuart, and now that Emma knows that Ryan knows that, he says they never have to talk about it ever again if she doesnt' want to. Uh, how about a little thing called THERAPY? She was practically CATATONIC at one point over it (well, it was really a drawn-out temper tantrum when you get right down to it, but still ...). Doesn't Ryan think that warrants at least a COUPLE of therapy sessions (besides what she got when she was hospitalized over it)?
