Okay, there's no doubt whatsoever that David is in charge of whatever the hell it is he's in charge of that involves Ben who is beholden to (and ostensibly in love with) Jane, to whom David is ostensibly engaged. It's also crystal clear now that Dixie and Erica were both being guarded/tended to by Ben under David's direction.  I'm intrigued. What the HELL is David doing, what HAS he been doing, and what is he GOING to do? It's quite convoluted.

JAR trips over the chair AJ is sitting in (where's a 4th floor balcony when you need one?) and AJ barely glances in his direction, not even flinching. He does look upset in a frozen kind of way, though. I had to laugh when Bianca later made a reference to JAR going out a window. I really like how they are throwing us some show-history bones during these last days (just don't throw us FAKE bones).

Boy, that Ben is a real ROCK, isn't he? No really. I've seen rocks with more personality and animation.

When David, still reeling from the punch Jack delivered to his face, grabbed Erica and said she was his beautiful fiance, then kissed her, how many of you immediately FF'd in your own brain to Erica saying "F**K OFF, DAVID!"

When Erica subsequently bit David on the mouth and he yanked away, saying "WTH, you just BIT me!" I had my own little flashback to this morning when I said pretty much the same thing when one of our cats did the same thing to me as I was petting him (he bit me; I did not bite him). He's an instinctual biter down to his itty-bitty little kitty core.

Oh puh-leeze! Did you see Liza's fake tear-wiping? She pressed a square of whatever up to the corner of her eye and just held it there for effect. Press and HOLD ..2..3..4... Shades of Casey Anthony in front of the jury!

Jesse scoffs at Erica's story of being kidnapped by a crazed fan who became her doppelganger. This from the man who faked his own death, hid away for 20 years and who, mere months ago, accepted someone else's baby to switch with his own dead one since Angie had passed out and couldn't see anyway. Yet he is the soul of  skepticism over Erica's story. Okay, Erica's story IS pretty far-fetched (REALLY far-fetched), but not by Pine Valley standards. It's less far-fetched than her unaborted fetus showing up in town 30 years later; the unaborted fetus that was excised, transplanted and subsequently raised by a doctor who happened to be one of Erica's biggest fans, for that matter.

Kendall tells Griff that he can tell her ANYTHING; he doesn't have to hide anything from her. Oh yeah? After SAVING YOUR LIFE (multiple times), not to mention keeping you from killing David, he told you he was stealing drugs from the hospital to give to poor countries and you turned him over to the police in a nanosecond the moment you thought you would benefit from it (by getting info about Zach's death). I wouldn't tell her any secrets, either. She's the most compulsive blabbermouth in PV!

Okay, even though I don't buy eBabe deciding/realizing she's in love with Bianca, it WAS gratifying to see JAR thrown for a loop by it. How can he POSSIBLY compete with THAT? He only knows how to compete with other men. Plus he's an ASSHOLE (have I ever mentioned that I think JAR is an asshole? I believe I have, but I digress), and Bianca is somewhat of a saint. Watching JAR squirm over the situation was downright DELICIOUS! I do, however, hear the vague rustlings of yet another custody battle looming. OTOH, do they REALLY want to leave us with yet another trite custody battle over a child who has already been fought over on numerous occasions, not to mention been kidnapped many times over?

Speaking of kidnappings, Lucy hasn't been kidnapped yet and she's already several months old; they'd better get cracking on THAT one. I'm guessing Maya's boyfriend will figure into it.

It looks like Adam was triple-dosed with the tanning shower!

Liza swings her briefcase in anger, not realizing that David was right behind her. Her briefcase hits him HARD on the arm and shoulder. So why was he checking his nose to see if it was bleeding? Was his finger in it when he got hit?

JAR complains that Annie is a good student (with Adam as the teacher), learning how to be manipulative, coercive and saying whatever to get whatever she wants (minor nitpick: she was ALREADY that way before she even MET Adam). JAR says he learned everything he knows from Adam, but it turns out that he's just not as good at working people. He likes to think that it's because he has a little thing called "morals". BWAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!

Jake gets snotty with Tad over "loose lips sink ships" because Tad said something about getting back to the baby. Hello? Jake and Amanda talked about the baby and their big, SECRET plan to fool David for MONTHS anywhere and everywhere they went!

How is Annie managing to even WALK in that dress, let alone dance in circles? She and Adam are stepping all OVER the hem. He's probably the only thing holding her up.

Kendall is such a twit.

The D.A.'s escort had quite an attitude, didn't she? She didn't even say a word, yet she came across as arrogant, smug, and self-righteous yet deferential to the D.A. WITHOUT mugging. It was fairly subtle, really. I like her. So far.

Why is Frankie lying in bed wearing a hospital gown? Does he really NEED to be undressed and tucked in a bed for them to do a checkup on his HANDS?

Jesse tells Angie that "what that boy NEEDS is to PROCESS this!" What that boy needs is for his father to stop calling him a BOY, ESPECIALLY now that he's feeling helpless and useless. I know it's a parental thing, and Lord knows it's hard to stop thinking of your adult child as a child, no matter HOW old they get, but I think now might be a good time to at least TRY.

I was THRILLED to hear Liza refer to Ryan as a "grossly negligent father", even if it WAS facetious and in the form of a question.

OMG Annie is actually BATTING HER EYES at Adam. He's such a SAP!

Adam offers his home for Annie to stay while she's out on bail (which he will pay). EXCUSE ME? This woman is a homicidal maniac, even if she DID save Adam's life, so WTF is he inviting her into his home where his little GRANDCHILD lives? What IS his game? Does he think SHE killed Stuart and he's just trying to maneuver her into some kind of cold revenge? If he is, he's hiding it well. WHEW! I was glad to hear the judge echo my concern about Junior Junior living in the same house as Annie! So he boots JAR and Junior Junior out of the house so Annie can stay there. WTF? Now we KNOW there's more to it than doing something out of gratitude and the goodness of his heart. There HAS to be.

LOD:
Erica to Ryan: "But there is no way in Hell that Adam is going to push out JAR and his little grandson from the mansion just so that Hannibal Lector's little sister can move in!" LOL!

Considering the kind of havoc that's been wreaked at so VERY many Kane family dinners at the Valley Inn, you'd think the staff at the Yacht Club wouldn't be NEARLY as eager to have her as a patron. To be fair, though, most of her appearances at the YC so far have been pretty tame.

I had to laugh at how all the patrons were gawking at the famous Erica, ERICA KANE, though. 1) Most of the time the patrons simply ignore her to the point you can't be sure they even realize that she EXISTS. 2) They're showing only YOUNG people being awestruck in her presence. Most younger people would NOT be so ridiculously starstruck over a woman of Erica's age, no matter HOW good she looks. Plus, this is the YC, not Walmart. The clientele is supposed to be more upscale and, you would think, at least a bit more subtle about their idolatry. I'd buy it a bit more if the starstruck patrons were in at LEAST their 40s, and even then you'd think they would have acquired a little more class by that age than to overtly go gaga over a celebrity in their midst. The way they were portraying it, I'm surprised a herd of teenagers didn't descend upon her, screaming and swooning in the excitement and glamor of it all.

Ah, I see Randi recognizes the good D.A. THAT should come in handy. I have a feeling he's been quite handy, INDEED, when it comes (so to speak) to Randi. Telegraph much?

UGH! That's a BUTT-UGLY top Colby is wearing!

eBabe sure wears shorts a lot. She should wear something else once in a while, lest people think thinking of her as the Peggy Hill of Pine Valley.

Liza is dong a VERY crappy job of pretending to be pregnant, and ESPECIALLY at being pregnant and ready to pop. You'd think ANYONE would see right through it. She's walking around in her spiked heels and her low-cut dress with a pushup bra. And she's WALKING -- STRUTTING, even! Any woman who has ever been pregnant knows that at that point in a pregnancy, you are leaning backwards trying to balance yourself with the heavy load in front (about 20 lbs -- it's not just the weight of the baby, itself) and are, most likely, WADDLING, at least a little bit. You'll probably have swollen ankles, too. The way she presents herself is TOTALLY bogus! Of course, the pregnancy itself IS totally bogus, but everyone else in town are total idiots not to have figured it out yet. At the very LEAST, David should have figured it out.

David keeps walking into the Martin house and doing nefarious things such as planting bugs. And Jake and Amanda KNOW that. So why do they insist on constantly talking about their baby plans in the living room?

Why is everyone acting like all that has to happen is that Annie is declared "sane" and then she'll be out? If she gets declared "sane", THEN she gets to stand trial for killing her brother, kidnapping, stabbing Erica, etc. And what about Aidan? If/when she spills the beans, he'll be on the hook for aiding and abetting her multiple escapes and the first kidnapping. I'll buy that she was insane when she stabbed Erica. I buy it much LESS when she bludgeoned Richie to death. I don't buy it at ALL when she kidnapped Emma OR kept breaking out of various places. She put WAAAAAAAY too much cunning and planning into most of those acts for her to get off with a plea of insanity.

Brot calls to make reservations for plane tickets to Orlando. I know that ABC is owned by Disney and it probably has some kind of tie-in, because Disney World is the first thing people think of when they think of Orlando. BZZZZZT! Not anymore! Not for ME anyway -- when I think of Orlando, I think "Casey Anthony", infamous (alleged) baby killer, party girl, and pathological liar. Damn, that kind of publicity must really SUCK for Disney, Universal, etc. In the meantime, I guess that's the last we're going to see of Brot, at least for a long time.

Since when does a 5-yr-old decide who he wants to live with? I can see where the judge might want his input, but the tot is hardly in a position to know who would be the better parent/guardian.

As usual, Krystal is wearing appropriate court attire -- NOT! She's wearing a bright orange, (on my TV), tight, low-cut wrap dress. Of course, since she is now trying NOT to get custody, I guess I should be surprised that the dress is relatively DEMURE.

Shouldn't some adult have been in the room with Little Adam? Did Tad PAY someone to leave him alone or just make it easier for JAR to get in? And what is UP with that big bow-tie? Is LA wearing a tuxedo? It makes him look like a miniature ringmaster.

Amanda says her doctor says her weight is perfect. Which doctor might that be? Frankie just left for Iraq, so who is she seeing now, and how is the falsification of records being explained?

Damn, that Roger (adoption attorney) is TALL! What is he, about 6'8"-7' tall, or are Jake and Amanda just a LOT shorter than I thought? The guy DOES look pretty large all over, though (appropriately for his height).

So now we know, via Jesse, an alternate name for Little Adam: Junior Junior.

Wow, Frankie sure got to Iraq FAST! That's a LONG flight. If we're to believe them, Frankie left the bar and went straight to the nearest deployment point got all checked in and checked over, hopped on a plane, landed and got situated enough to already be set up enough to make an internet phone call to Randi AND set up a pee-wee basketball game for "some of the kids on the block". Randi is apparently using the hospital broadband to receive the call. Why is she even AT the hospital, let alone hauling her laptop with her? Maybe they only have dialup at home. Oh wait, maybe it was because they were going to share the call with Brot and Taylor. WHY he would want to do that with his first call to his wife, which you would think they would want to be PRIVATE, I can't imagine.

Amanda says she might REALLY trust Jake. She has a short memory. HE broke up with HER (because he was hot for Taylor for some unfathomable reason) and then he had the f**king cajones to call HER a slut and treat her like dirt for NO REASON! That doesn't exactly scream trustworthy to ME. Of course, it's not as if SHE'S trustworthy, either, so maybe I should call it a draw. Then she falls sound asleep on the couch after Jake says about two sentences. Damn, she falls asleep faster than baby Ian!

When Erica was getting on Adam's case about just giving in and asking for help because now other people have noticed that something is wrong, did any of you long-time watchers flash back to Erica bluntly telling Dr. Tyler that he needed to stop pretending that he was hard of hearing and just get a damned hearing aid? She didn't use the word "damned", of course, but she WAS quite blunt (i.e., totally tactless) about it and pointed out that it would simply be a tool, like glasses. Dr. Tyler did not want to face up to it until then; he and Mona had just pretended it wasn't so, but Erica DID get through to him that day and he realized he was being foolish by denying it. He wore a hearing aid from that point on.

WTF? Colby would NEVER get away with talking on a cellphone in a courtroom! You'd get kicked out PRONTO for that anywhere but PV.

So, what's Krystal's secret? I'm guessing that Babe was not Krystal's biological child and/or David is not her biological father; therefore, Junior Junior is not his biological grandchild (or hers, either, for that matter). Of course, it's not ENTIRELY clear that he's JAR's biological child, either. Or maybe Krystal's FRIEND is the one who got pregnant at that Stanford frat party and Krystal stole HER baby for some ridiculous reason. She might even have KILLED the woman and literally stole Babe from her womb using a key from her old AMC Pacer. Who knows? Some are speculating that Babe was a twin that Krystal gave up, but I don't see how that would affect the custody hearing, and neither would a baby given up for adoption, unless the REASON it was given up is really heinous. Maybe she abandoned it in a trashcan or something and would never, EVER want that child to know that. She said that David is not the man that they think he is, though, so I'm leaning toward him not being the biological father, even though they did a DNA test. As we all know, DNA tests in PV are about as reliable as dandelion fluff staying intact on a windy day. Or maybe she's just going to say that he DOES beat her.

The first two comments are actually from Tuesday, 3/31, but I didn't feel that they merited their own Boogie Chillen.

Is it my imagination, or does Tori always wear the same clothes?

Why doesn't Annie ever seem to have any therapy with actual .. I don't know ... THERAPISTS? What kind of psychiatric training does Aidan have that HE'S the one who keeps having counseling sessions with Annie.

So now Amanda and Jake are discussing the plans for her baby, THE BIG SUPER SECRET, with a lawyer in a fucking BAR. The stupidity of these two dolts simply defies description.

If Jesse and Angie thought David suspected something after seeing the puppet drawing on Angie's hand, why didn't they CALL Natalia and warn her that David might show up? Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Ryan says he never put up ANY resistance about his son being raised in a different household. Excuse me? I believe he DID threaten to take Spike away from Kendall at one point (before he was even born, I think).

I see Amanda and Jake are continuing to blabber at every possible opportunity about their super, super, SUPER-SECRET plans. What better place to talk about it than the ONE place David is almost SURE to be, lurking around every corner?

Frankie and Randi get married. That's nice. Not INTERESTING, but nice.

Are we REALLY supposed to be rooting for the true love of Kendall and Ryan? I mean REALLY? WTF are the writers smokin' that they think the majority of fans would go along with that?

The writers like to portray women as always following their hearts or their passions. Why can't they show them following their BRAINS once in a while?
