LOVED JAR's snarky comment that maybe Babe and Uncle Stewart in heaven can throw down cows and paintbrushes. The thought of falling cows is daunting, but if one fell on JAR, I would be okay with that

Stuart has been in a limbo/coma for at least a couple of years, he was JUST brought out of it and he's coming home TONIGHT? Puh-lease! He's still looking around trying to figure things out!

Winifred! When did SHE start working for them again?

I thought David was still in custody. Just because he temporarily got out to save Stuart doesn't mean that he should be able to roam the town again.

I DID like the Rhett Butler moment for Jack. He's walked out on her before, though, and he always comes back, so it didn't have quite the impact it probably could have had.

I'm surprised that Hayley did not return this week. I'm fine with Maturdo not returning, though.

Oh THAT SUCKS! They end the show, not just the episode, but a 41-year, 5-day-a-week show with a single gunshot and jump to black? That's IT? We didn't even get to see Stuart come home!

JAR was the one with the gun. As far as we know, no one else had a gun. He probably shot at Bianca and/or Marissa, but it could have been someone else or it could have HIT someone else (like Stuart coming home). Or he could have committed suicide. Or it could simply have gone off accidentally while he was waving it around.

We are supposed to watch the Prospect Park version of AMC when and IF it goes onto the internet at some point in the future. What if that falls through? What about people who don't have high-speed internet who won't be able to watch the PP version? A cliffhanger, by definition, is something that WILL BE CONTINUED. That was the official end of AMC as we know it, so to fire a shot into a crowded party and just go to black was a slap in the face to the fans!

What a disappointing way to end the show!

Back to yesterday's show, I agree that that was an unfortunate choice of haircuts for Justin Bruening (Jamie).

Are we ever going to find out just what it was that David did while he had Dixie that scared the bejesus out of her, other than keeping her captive and befuddled and alone?

I liked it when Tad told Cara that if anyone can slap Hayward around, it's gotta be HER. I think I agree. She won't put up with David's shit. I'm glad they semi-paired them for the finale.

Come on, Adam. Stuart was just brought back from the dead literally moments before. Was that REALLY the right time to spill your guts about being the one who shot and killed him? Yeah, I know, there IS no other time.

So, who is JAR going to shoot? Marissa? Himself? Bianca? David? Adam? Those are people he probably feels deserve it. Or will he accidentally shoot someone? Will he aim for someone and accidentally kill Uncle Stewart all over again? If he accidentally shoots someone, it could be just about ANYONE. Or will he have a moment of clarity and throw the gun in the river (for some kid to find)?

Has anyone stopped to consider that Mookie is the biological father of Lucy and that he might come back and try to assert his rights as such? I don't think there are any police reports to back up Maya's claims that he physically abuse her. If nothing else, he should be paying child support. If he dies, the child would be entitled to SS Survivor benefits, so his paternity should be established, one way or another.

So David was the one being scammed. Ryan wasn't REALLY shot. They're going to keep teasing us, using our hopes and dreams of Ryan's death, something we've yearned for year after year, and then dash those hopes yet again.

Greenlee tells Zach that maybe it would have been better for everyone if he hadn't come back (because he's being loyal to David). Gee, Greenlee, the same could be said about YOU, couldn't it? I don't know which was worse, her hooking up with David or her hooking up with Ryan again.

Tidbit: John O'Hurley (who played the movie exec) is Eva La Rue's former husband (she was married to him before she was married to John Callahan).

Someone is shot. Is is Ryan or Zach? Zach had the gun to begin with, so soap logic says ZACH will inadvertently shoot himself with his own gun. I really, Really, REALLY hope it was Ryan, though. Then again, my immediate thought was the Ryan has abs of titanium, so it wouldn't matter anyway.

As predicted, Cara is pregnant.

AJ was at the park with eBabe. Tad found JAR in the park, gave him a lecture and then said he was going to go get AJ and take him home. The next thing we know, Tad goes back to Krystal's to meet up again with Cara, and he has AJ in tow. Does eBabe know that Tad even HAS AJ?

Erica was dragged out of Dixie's room (twice). Why would they then put her in the room right next to Dixie?

Why did Griff tell Kendall that David may possibly have Zach stashed away somewhere? You'd think he would know by now that Kendall is nothing if not impulsive and that both she and her mother's go-to solution when they are pissed off is VIOLENCE. Guns, knives, drugs, pillows--whatever it takes or even just whatever happens to be handy at the time. Kendall, in particular, has a long history of using the threat of lethal violence to try to force people to cooperate with her, whatever her current obsession happens to be. Oh sure, both she and Erica usually wield whatever their current weapon of choice is in a very feminine manner while wearing the latest fashions, but the bottom line is that they often follow through with a very unladylike result. You know that, sure as shit, Kendall is going to go after David and try to force him to tell her whatever he knows about Zach.

The bottoms of Erica's shoes are kind of dirty for just walking around her carpeted room & bathroom. Did Jane get them from Erica's closet or are they Jane's castoffs? Jane's already wearing last season's shoes while pretending to be Erica, so I can only imagine Erica's humiliation at wearing Jane's castoffs, even though Ben is the only one who sees her.

That crystal chandelier above/near Erica's bed looks like it could be useful for smashing into something, if only for the satisfaction of breaking it.

What did Madison do, put on black contacts that cover all of the whites of her eyes? She definitely looks like someone who would shoot Greenlee. I hope that suit of armor Greenlee has is bulletproof. My guess is that it WILL come into play in that respect and that Madison will somehow get hold of Ryan's gun that they so carefully tried to fool us with on his wedding day.

That medieval photo session with Ryan and Greenlee was the most animated I've seen them in a long time - maybe YEARS. I actually did NOT FF through it and kind of liked it, probably because it looked like they were genuinely having fun. They're probably relieved they can move on to something else soon, so they can relax - it's not like they are going to get fired at this point for not being overly soapy.

I think I'm jaded by short-timer's attitude at this point. There was a commercial on Soapnet about going there to keep tabs on who's coming and who's going. WTF? They're ALL going!

So Madison's new campaign is Angry, Harsh, Spiteful, Hateful, Man-Hating Bitch? Ooookaaay. Well, at least she bleached the black out of the whites of her eyes. That had to sting.

Every time I see Madison now I think of the evil uber-bitch, Katinka, in Zoolander. How long will it be before she accuses someone of wearing K-Mart clothes?

Why did Jane pass out? The only thing she hit on the way down was her hand, and that was on a lightweight piece of plastic.

Why does Maya not want to wear a "summer uniform"?  JAR mentioned that they have them and she said she had thin bones and catches cold easily.  Both his question and her answer were way out of left field, so there has to be a purpose.  The thing that comes into my mind first is that maybe she has a history of cutting herself and doesn't want anyone to see scars or fresh cuts.

For being unconscious (or even asleep) while tied together, back-to-back with Marissa and sitting up on the floor, Bianca is holding her head relatively upright with remarkable ease and control.

Tad said it took 15 minutes for him to find a parking space to go into Krystal's.    No one EVER has trouble finding a parking space in Pine Valley.  In any case, most of the time they use the PV Transporter to simply dematerialize/materialize from one place to another.  It's the only explanation to account for how they get from one place to another not only within a couple of minutes, but within SECONDS.  Maybe they are all holograms.

I WILL say, however, that at one point they had some stock footage they used of downtown PV, which was quite quaint, and there WAS bumper-to-bumper traffic on their narrow, 2-lane Main Street.  That was back in the late-70s/early-80s timeframe, I think.  And, of course, they later went through their downtown-PV-is-really-downtown-Manhattan phase where looking down from the roof of the Chandler building (as Leslie Coulson dangled from it) showed a six-lane boulevard, jam-packed with honking cars and buses -- at night.  BTW, Leslie not only survived the fall of MANY stories, she sneaked out of the Emergency Room when no one was looking, although she WAS somewhat shaky, stiff and limping.

Erica is surprised that the Valley Inn Dining Room is empty -- it's just for THEM!  Why would she be surprised (yes, I know it's Jane, not Erica); no one goes there anymore to eat or drink, and anyone who needs lodgings goes to the Yacht Club.

Jane trying to pull herself together to handle Bianca at the hospital was kind of odd.  She kept telling herself "She's NOT your daughter, she's NOT your daughter..."  Did Jane lose a daughter, and does it have anything to do with Erica or someone close to Erica?  You would think she would be chanting to herself to BELIEVE Bianca was her daughter so that she could act in at least a semi-appropriate manner.

Ricky should have done his homework.  Kendall DOES have experience with guns.

BC - Fri, 1/28/11

On Friday's episode, Tad gives Jesse chocolates to give to Angie. They both promptly start eating the candy, with gusto, while they still talk. Ok, who at AMC got the sudden urge to show the cast chewing, swallowing and talking all of the sudden?

I can understand why Natalia and Brot used the hotel room the first time, but why are they using it again? Don't they both have their own places?

Okay, now I have to take AWAY props from the Props department; either the telephone handset that Greenlee is holding is WAY too big or she has a very tiny head.

OMG, I was just JOKING about where Jake was going to put his fingers -- now he's telling David that he's scheduled him for a colonoscopy (right after David says he can handle "a few jabs")

So not only does Cara have no idea how to apply eyeliner, but she's rude, too. She just goes up to Tad at Krystal's, plops herself down and starts talking, completely oblivious to the fact that Tad is sitting WITH someone (someone he's investigating for possibly stealing drugs from the hospital). Then she asks him if he's worked any good cases lately.

Fusion is seriously going to have an ad campaign glamorizing a woman carrying a GUN? What next, they create an applicator shaped like a gun? They should go to Cara to find out where she gets hers from, because I suspect she uses a bazooka for that.

Tidbit: The penthouse is located at 450 Old Cedar Lane in Pine Valley. That's a quaint name for a place that's located in a busy downtown area.

Why didn't Jesse already know that David had escaped by the time David was shot?

Well, I guess now we know where the stray bullet went. Isn't this the second time Madison has been shot, or am I confusing her with so many others on the show who have been shot?

Liza is the DA. Why does SHE have to work on papers to transfer David to lockup? Isn't that the PVPD's job? At first I thought she might still be his attorney, which makes me want to vomit, but then Jack managed to get in to see David by pretending to be his lawyer mere moments after Liza walked out of the room, with the same guard standing right there. Then again, members of the PVPD aren't known for their massive brainpower or quick-wittedness.

When the Thanksgiving play started, all I could think of was Wednesday Addams in the Addams Family Values movie where she played a Native American princess who then proceeded to mastermind a massacre of the pilgrims as payback for what was done to the Native Americans.

I can't believe Tad just said to Krystal: "All right, now you make sure you get Jenny and our little SQUAW back to the restaurant" I can't believe they put that in the script! That's like using the N-word! There's some controversy about the origins of the word or it's actual meaning, but it's widely considered to be a derogatory and racist slur nowadays.

Jack tells Greenlee and Ryan that David is on a bus on his way to prison now. For WHAT? They just glossed right over that part! No trial, no nothing -- just off you go. I was wondering why they were making a big deal about him being transferred to "lockup" and how lockup might be different than being in a cell downstairs.

And there's David, lurking outside the penthouse. He must have escaped. Gee, what a surprise.

Did it ever occur to Tad to simply ask to BUY a turkey from the Yacht Club or have THEM prepare a meal for them? Are we supposed to root for him and Jake STEALING one from them?

Okay, I have to admit that I did NOT expect to see Erica holding the gun that shot David. Notice I didn't say she SHOT him, but she is holding the gun (I'm guessing that Kendall or someone else shot him; if it was Kendall, she doesn't remember it). I DID expect something bad to happen to David, but not quite so soon. As I said, he's now known to me as "Twice Cooked Pork".

There's a new text message from Z on Kendall's phone. WTF? They can't even be covert enough to use alias INITIALS? These two are so beyond stupid it's mind-boggling! I expect that kind of stupidity from Kendall, but not from Zach.

I thought it was hilarious that Kendall was bemoaning how she needed to clean up her face because it's been so long since she's had a wash. As previously mentioned, her makeup is P-E-R-F-E-C-T. She comes back in a little while later, having cleaned up in the basement (I think) and commenting on how much better she feels, etc. She doesn't look one iota different than when she walked out, although I suppose her pits might smell better.

While Kendall was washing the non-existent layers of grime off of herself, Aidan was impersonating Kendall by sending a message to Zach hinting that Kendall and Aidan were getting cozy together. What is he up to? I suppose we're supposed to buy that he wants Kendall for himself now because he's been all alone and he's still reeling from Greenlee's death? Or maybe he wants to get back at Zach for something (people hate and forgive each other and change alliances so often that I don't even KNOW where the two of them stand with each other right now).

I don't get it. How would Adam coming forward now about the fact that HE shot Stuart cause the family to suffer? Yeah, it's not good publicity and he probably doesn't want his family to pity him because of it, but Adam doesn't run the company any more, anyway, and it's common knowledge that he was illegally drugged when his brother was shot. If he REALLY loved Annie, he wouldn't let HER keep taking the flack for killing Stuart, and he wouldn't keep making her feel like she has to keep up the lie that EMMA killed Stuart. Also, although, Kendall DID go there to shoot him that night, she DIDN'T. And now not only is Kendall strongly impacted by it, but so is her family, and (as far as Adam knows) Kendall was STABBED in prison. I've got no great love for the air-headed Kendall, but Adam needs to man up on this one now that he knows the truth. Keeping the truth quiet at this point makes NO sense, other than to save Adam some embarrassment, red tape and court-mandated therapy sessions (and possibly the wrath of Marian if and when she gets out of the loony bin).

Speaking of Marian, she was hauled off after trying to shoot Kendall, but she ended up shooting eBabe instead. Does eBabe still hurt even a little bit from being SHOT?

Kendall grouses to Aidan about Annie and says: "I cannot believe she gets away with the things she gets away with!" This from woman who has escaped custody on multiple occasions, is currently a fugitive who has, on more than one occasion, tried to kill people. Pot, Kettle!

How did Bailey's old boyfriend know where she was? She HAD to have texted him the address.

Oh look, a gun. What a surprise. We need to start keeping a count of how often a gun is shown in Pine Valley since Chuck Pratt took over as headwriter. It seems like their go-to solution for everything now.

If I were Adam, I'd be sorely tempted to shoot Zach just to make him shut the f**k up.

Aidan and Kendall talk about Annie and he says that he was vulnerable after Greenlee left him for Wyan and Annie took advantage of him and made him fall for her. Uh-huh. Kendall says that Annie made Ryan fall for her, as well. Excuse me? Annie pushed Ryan AWAY, convinced he was only interested in her because of Emma. He was bombastic and finally won ANNIE over, not the other way around.

Tidbit:
Stuart's headstone reads:
Stuart Chandler
May 24, 1945
May 15, 2009
True Friend To All

So Adam is, ostensibly, 64 years old. For the record, according to IMDB, David Canary is 71 years old.

Why did Jake and Amanda go to the ConFusion Halloween party? I mean, David was going to be there, along with a lot of other people, and it would be loud and they'd have to dress in uncomfortable costumes. All things considered, you'd think they would have wanted to spend some time alone together, even if they couldn't have sex. Why spend their "date" in the same place as DAVID, of all people?

Speaking of uncomfortable costumes, did you notice that nearly ALL the women were wearing large, CLUNKY false eyelashes? All I could think of every time I looked at those lashes was how difficult it was going to be to REMOVE them.

BC - Mon, 10/26/09

Ryan asks Erica how she managed to grow up in a single parent home and get through it undamaged. UNDAMAGED? ROTFLMAO! Erica is the exceptionally neurotic person she IS in large part because of the emotional damage caused by her father's abandonment of her and her mother, not to mention him pimping her out to Richard Fields when she was 13 or 14. It's been an ongoing storyline from day ONE of the show!

Now SCOTT is wielding a gun. What IS it with Chuck Pratt's fascination with guns? Is he a frustrated cowboy? There have been shootings off and on over the years, but I've never seen so many people with guns on AMC until this last year. Then Annie picks it up points it at Zach, then fires it 3 times into the ceiling before pointing it at him again. Isn't there some sort of condition of her release that she not be around guns?

I think it's funny that the poetry page that Zach will see is called the very lengthy villadiodatipoetrysociety.com, but Kendall's password to it is "ian". Not only is it an INCREDIBLY stupid and easy-to-crack password, but no modern s/w is going to accept a miniscule 3-letter password. I can understand how her peabrain couldn't remember anything else, though, and she will, after all, be exhausted after typing that long URL.

The fact that Amanda is even CONSIDERING David's proposal that they have another child together puts her in the category of Too-Stupid-To-Live (TSTL)! Yeah, conceiving and having a another child to put into that lunatic's hands, not to mention doing so on the vague promise that he MIGHT go for joint custody of their children and allow her to live with her own husband is a GREAT idea!

On pinevalleypodcast.com someone said that we need a new nickname for Annie. She's no longer Blandie and InSannie doesn't seem to work as well these days. My suggestion is, now that she's going to marry Adam (maybe), who is more than a little bit into senior citizenship, perhaps we should call her GrAnnie

Angie tells Natalia that she's going to go to church to beg God for forgiveness for wishing Madison dead (more than twice). Now Madison IS dead. I can just hear God now: "Oh, NOW you tell me!"

Why are the incriminating DVDs that Madison had just casually occupying a chair at Frankie and Randi's apt? Considering that little ceremony Angie made them perform about forgetting about it from this moment onward, you'd think they would have included DESTROYING THE EVIDENCE in the process. Not that Madison's father couldn't have EASILY made copies of them.

Speaking of destroying evidence, don't even get me STARTED on how RIDICULOUS Frankie's method of finally destroying them was! Too late, I'm started! If you have a decent paper shredder, you can shred a CD or DVD (good ones have slots for just that). You can also take pointy instruments such as scissors or screwdrivers and gouge the hell out of it. Or, as Taylor said in R.A.T.S.A, just break it. They really aren't that strong. I sometimes used to get broken DVDs from Blockbuster and/or Netflix just from them being crammed into mailboxes or possibly stuck in machines at the post office. Cassette tapes are even easier to destroy. Pull the tape out and cut it up with scissors. Sticking tapes and CDs/DVDs in a wastebasket and setting them on fire (with the help of lighter fluid) is beyond S-T-U-P-I-D and quite dangerous on several levels. BTW, don't Frankie and Randi have a smoke alarm?

Another gun. Yeah, THAT'll solve everything. Sigh ...

Given how often he gets into other people's places, you'd think David would at least think to lock his OWN front door.

After everything they've gone through in the last couple of days, why would Amanda choose to wear such an incredibly low-cut (not to mention skin-tight) top? I mean, what are her thought processes when she gets dressed in the morning? "Mybabymybabymybaby, deodorant, mybaby, panties, mybabymybaby, pants, mybabymybaby, bra, mybaby, which top to wear? A tee-shirt? No, I might have to be in front of a judge. Mybabymybabymybaby! 4" heels, mybaby, perfume, mybaby, this top is good because it doesn't go all the way down to my belly button. BC - Fri, 8/7/09

Well, I guess Marian dusted off the gun she used to kill Zach Grayson with (she did a couple of years at Statesville for THAT one).

Why did Taylor risk bringing the baby to Tad's place just because the baby hadn't pooped since yesterday? Way to keep a low profile! Besides, anyone who has ever had a baby knows what a monumental pain it is to take it anywhere -- you're laden down like a camel!

Damn, they sure are mopping up FAST after the shooting! Where are the people with the measuring tapes and cameras and sample swabs? No WAY would a crime scene be cleaned up that quickly in real life! How much times has gone by, 10-15 minutes, if that? And why does the blood still look like ketchup, especially after being dunked in a bucket of water?

JAR admits to having been immature and spoiled at points in his life. At POINTS in his life? Puh-Leeze! He's been immature and spoiled ALL of his life! He was much LESS so when he was a kid; usually it's the other way around.

Then JAR sneers to Annie that at least he's not a self-absorbed, money-sucking, mentally unstable waste like HER. Uh, actually, he's been ALL of those things at MANY points in his adult life. Pot, Kettle.

Now we see eBabe JUST NOW being wheeled into the PVPD Emergency Dept. Excuse me? So they mopped up the crime scene even before she got to the hospital that everyone in town can get to in the blink of an eye! What did they do, stop at the Dairy Queen on the way for some soft cones and fries, or perhaps stop and text their friends, check their email, play a few video games and update their FaceBook status?

Considering that Rach has practically RAISED the two boys, that was a pretty abrupt dismissal of her by Zach. What about the children? They are losing their mother AND their mother-substitute on the SAME DAY! He just rushed her out the door. You'd think she would at least have some personal effects there. It was a pretty crappy thing for Zach to do both to Rachel AND to the children!

One or more of the children playing Spike is unquestionably developmentally disabled in my opinion. The triplets that play Spike are three years old now, yet one or more of them often babbles complete nonsense, like baby Ian. They should either replace the boys who portray him or write this into the storyline, because it gets harder every day to watch everyone completely ignore something that is becoming so obvious. Most 3-yr-olds chatter away all day long, asking question after question after question, usually in relatively complete sentences. The older the child actors get, the more glaringly obvious it will become. The 18-month-old who lives upstairs from me demonstrates verbal skills that are nearly the same as "Spike's", but more animated and intelligible (and the toddler's verbal skills improve at a rapid rate from one week to the next). He also demonstrates some rapidly improving tantrum-throwing skills, along with rapidly increasing lung capacity, but I digress

BC - Tue, 7/28/09

Ah, so Zach DID shoot to frame Annie. He also shot very low, so maybe it will wise someone up that perhaps EMMA did the shooting. Or maybe he just did it low because Annie was on her knees (the way Adam LIKES it ) so it would make sense for the bullet to enter through a lower angle.

Why can't Ryan get his OWN court order to a) keep Annie, the homicidal maniac who has tried (and succeeded) on NUMEROUS occasions to kidnap her daughter, from seeing and influencing Emma, and b) to keep the D.A. from interrogating a traumatized child in the hospital. Emma needs to be interviewed by a person QUALIFIED to interview her for a criminal case. The stupidity of these people never ceases to amaze me.

Erica tells Kendall that she's not CAPABLE of murder. BULLSHIT! Kendall has come close to murdering people on several occasions. She held a gun on Erica, herself, in a restaurant (under the tablecloth). She took a knife with her to Michael Cambias's house. She replaced his allergy medicine with something else. She even let loose a poisonous VIPER in his condo, FGS! She went to Adam's house to K-I-L-L him. Yeah, so she never SUCCEEDED in killing anyone, but it wasn't lack of TRYING. So she couldn't pull the trigger -- BFD! If the gun had gone off accidentally while she was in the process of brandishing it, and someone ended up dead as a result, she would STILL be liable for murder (just ask Phil Spector; oh wait, he's incommunicado in the slammer at Corcoran now; ask the judge, instead). Kendall is QUITE capable of killing someone. She's practically an out-of-control firehose (which can inflict great damage), just mindlessly spraying mayhem in various directions with no real control. Unlike a firehose, though, SHE has certainly formed the INTENT often enough (and I'm probably forgetting some stuff she's done).

Wow, that's the most emotion I've seen from Jamie Luner since she started playing Liza. Maybe there IS hope for her. She hasn't shown the slightest crack in her facade up until today, and it just hasn't been working. The Liza WE knew had some vulnerabilities and a softness that came through even when she was at her most conniving. Part of that was that we already knew the character and actress (on and off) from the time Liza was a teen, but a great deal of it was also that Marcy Walker PORTRAYED her that way in a very nuanced manner. JL plays Liza as simply cold and mostly emotionless -- not because she has a tight reign on her feelings, but because she HAS no feelings. She's like a one-note character. When she laments her relationship with Colby, she might as well be talking about how unfortunate it is that her favorite server at BJ's is cold to her because she forgot to tip her once. MW's Liza was CONSERVATIVE, but she was not emotionless.

Most of the file cabinets in the INTERROGATION ROOM at the PVPD don't even have locks on them. Why would there even BE file cabinets in an interrogation room, let alone file cabinets without locks? Unless those suckers are anchored to the wall, they can be used as weapons. So can those SHARP edges in the cement pillar

Why is Scott, the son of the man Annie is suspected (by some) of MURDERING, allowed to be in the interrogation room alone with Annie? Even is she's not/wasn't a suspect in killing Stewart, she's now a suspect in trying to kill ADAM, Scott's uncle. And even if there WEREN'T those conflicts of interest, why would he be allowed in there to just keep her company or ask her questions while she's chained to a table awaiting questioning by the police?

What happened with the drunken David waiting around Liza's hotel room with the baby? They COMPLETELY dropped that, unless I missed something.

Liza is wearing a lot of carefully applied eye makeup for a women who hasn't had any sleep or been able to comb her hair for a day due to a fussy baby.

Oh, and now Ryan, Annie's ex-husband who had a large part in driving her over the edge, the man who took her daughter away from her, the man who moved her rival into THEIR penthouse practically the MOMENT she was carted away, the man who has to keep fighting tooth and nail to keep Annie from destroying Emma's life, is allowed into the room, alone, to talk to Annie. They BOTH have reason to hate and try to manipulate and/or harm each other. Does the PVPD have shit for brains? (that's a rhetorical question)

Does Emma ever get bothered by having her hair in her face all the time?

And as my sister, Sharlene, said: Why is Emma STILL in the hospital? If she needs to be hospitalized due to her mental condition, send her to the mental ward or off to Oakhaven instead of taking up time and space in the Emergency Room. And stop leaving her all alone in her room since it's obvious that she's perfectly capable of getting up and walking around on her own, not to mention that any stranger could come into her room and do God knows WHAT to her.

BC - Mon, 7/27/09

Ryan is acting like Emma is catatonic. She doesn't look catatonic to ME. So she pulled a pillow over her head and refused to talk to anyone. BFD! She's obviously depressed and doesn't want to talk to anyone, but that's hardly a reason to take her to the EMERGENCY ROOM. That's not a psychotic break, that's a depressed version of a TANTRUM. Granted, tantrums probably COULD be interpreted as psychotic breaks if you look at them out of context, but they're pretty normal for children (and more than a few adults). I can't WAIT until she's a teenager. If Ryan's solution to a tantrum by a 7-yr-old is to put her in the emergency room, wait until he has to deal with telling her she can't go out dressed like that or that she's grounded.

Don't get me wrong -- Emma IS traumatized by what she saw and/or did, but Ryan is WAAAAAAY overreacting. I don't think I've EVER seen him discipline her. He just talks in a very concerned voice and tries to reason with her about why she shouldn't do whatever it is that she did or that she shouldn't lie. Just once I'd like to hear him say "GO TO YOUR ROOM!" Emma has a LOT of potential for the next SORASED (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome (formerly known as Pine Valley Glandular Disease back in the late 1980s or early 1990s)) hellion, as does Kathy.

BTW, I think Lucy Merriam (Emma) is doing a GREAT job lately!

If Emma is curled up into a ball in a hospital room, WTF is Ryan sitting OUTSIDE the room in the hallway with Erica??? You don't bring your child to the emergency room and then just leave her there alone!!!

I'm glad to see that at least ONE person on the show (Zach) keeps his gun(s) in a SAFE.

Why does Tad keep quipping about TVs? First he makes a big deal about installing a digital converter (even though he undoubtedly has cable and/or satellite, which is already digital), and then jokes about Amanda buying him a flat-screen TV (after she knocks over and breaks Taylor's TV). Why does this bug me? Because I distinctly remember him setting up a complicated digital TV/home theater (did Jamie set it up for him?), so unless that TV broke (which he would, of course, immediately replace with a NEW digital TV), it's all just for show (so to speak).

Didn't Amanda say that the window was open, so she just climbed in to be with the baby? Setting aside for a moment the utter stupidity of that action, why was the window open in the middle of the night? "Close the windows and lock the doors." That's Home Security 101 and most CHILDREN know that rule, so why doesn't the Lieutenant-who-can-kill-(and-HAS-killed)-a-man-with-her-bare-hands know that? Apparently she thinks that closing the blinds is all the security that is necessary, despite the fact that a baby-obsessed asshole is obsessed with finding THAT BABY. I'll give her this, though -- the blinds ARE still closed, even though it's a few hours later, which is more than I expected. If she and Tad decide to have sex, though, the blinds WILL be open -- it's apparently written into the condo Homeowners Association bylaws that the blinds MUST be open if people are going to be having sex.

After everything that's gone down, is Zach going to go shoot someone ELSE so that BOTH he and Kendall end up in prison? And how, exactly, does that work out best for the boys who will be stuck being raised by a a woman who insists that they call her Mama's Mama? I'm sure the inappropriate clothing, stiletto heels, hallucinations and copious perfume will be a comfort to them, though.

Are Taylor and Tad going to let the baby sleep on top of Amanda on the couch all night? That's not exactly a safe situation, either.

Unless he has a degree in child psychology, I don't see how it would be legal for the D.A. to force an interview with a traumatized child. It's not like the information has to be elicited from her RIGHT THAT SECOND, and it should be done by someone who specializes in interviewing children.

Why didn't the alarm go off when Annie went out to the patio to investigate the broken flower-pot?

What is Zach hoping to accomplish by shooting through the patio window/door?

Is it just me, or does Jake's bag full of miscellaneous crap look like a great big condom?

Are we ever going to find out where the baby has been stashed all this time, and with whom?

Why did David come into the house (TAD'S house) with Krystal when he brought her home? For the sake of the plot, it was for him to hear the baby cry, of course, but then they just dropped it, so what was up with that?

I really HATE it when soap birth-mothers are forced to endure seeing their own baby and don't know that it IS their own baby. That's a REALLY crappy thing to do! I hated it when Erica deliberately paraded baby Maddy in front of Maria, and I hate that TPTB are doing it now to Amanda! It's CRUEL! And don't even get me STARTED on awkwardly dangling a tiny baby through the basement window when it's clear they can't quite reach each other, and Tad can barely fit the baby and his arms through the window! Who would DO that? I don't care HOW important they think it is to fake a baby's birth, that was endangering the baby's life, plain and simple (yes, I DO realize they were using a prop baby for that scene)! Shades of Michael Jackson! I find this entire storyline not only immensely S.T.U.P.I.D, but downright D.E.S.P.I.C.A.B.L.E!

People burst in, sneak in, skulk around, and attempt to murder, kidnap or assault other people in Adam's home on a regular basis. Erica and Ryan were JUST chased out of there a short time ago after bursting in on Annie and Adam while Annie was holding a gun on Adam. When Erica starts skulking around AGAIN and makes noise, Annie asks what it was. Given the revolving door of mayhem and deceit in that house, why does she then believe Adam when he says it's nothing and probably just a small animal? She barely gives a glance in Erica's direction! Or DID she realize someone was out there?

Tad KNOWS that having the baby in the house is KILLING Amanda, so why did he tell Liza to "stay as long as you need"? We need Debbie Novotny (Michael's Mom on Queer As Folk) to slap Tad upside the head! And we need her to slap JAKE upside the head with BOTH hands!

If the D.A.'s wife knows Zach is trying to dig up dirt on her husband, why is she gambling at HIS establishment? Surely there are other casinos in the area, and there HAVE to be conflict-of-interest issues with that. Ah, she not-so-secretly wants to sabotage her husband in the guise of standing up for and bragging about him, thus giving information to the "enemy".

It always cracks me up how quickly murder trials (or ANY trials, for that matter) are held in Pine Valley.

Why did COLBY have to go after Amanda to see if she was okay (after Amanda held and fed the baby)? JAKE should have done that, but instead he stays with Liza and grimaces about how Liza screwed everything up. Jake is SUCH a clueless, insensitive TWIT!

Ryan tells Erica that between Adam and his security, he can't get anywhere NEAR Annie. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!! ANYONE can get into Adam's house at ANY time! You have to be a special kind of STUPID to not be able to get into Adam's house.

The D.A. tells Jack that, as far as his case against Kendall goes, there's means, motive and opportunity. I don't know about the means part. She didn't bring so much as a nail file with her. The gun she had she FOUND there. As for motive, most states nowadays do NOT require the State to prove a motive.

I do NOT care of Jamie Lunar's version of Liza. She's so one-note. It's B-O-R-I-N-G.

See, I TOLD you it was easy to get into Adam's house (not that everyone doesn't already know that).

I can't believe the woman trying on the little black dress is being COMPLETELY oblivious to the fact that not only are Adam and Erica talking about the dress she's wearing, but Erica is standing right NEXT to her and pointing to it and discussing it as if the woman is a mannequin.
