Boogie Chillen, S01E13, C3P3 (Wed, 5-15-13)

Opal! What a sneaky bitch for snitching on Celia (for the sole purpose of keeping Pete for herself)!

Is it my imagination, or are they showing more commercials now? OTOH, I'm "binge watching" at the moment so maybe it just seems like it because I have to sit through them all one after the other without the ability to FF.

Jeeze, I nearly jumped in my chair! JAR was holding AJ's hand and trying to let him know how much he loved him, and then Dixie suddenly opened the sliding door to the room. The sound effect for the sliding door made it sound like Darth Vader was about to sweep into the room!

I love, Love, LOVE that JAR echoed my sentiments and referred to himself as an asshole! :-)

I agree with Debbie that, angst over Cassandra's situation aside, Jesse and Angie are waaaay overbearing on questioning the beaten patient about the sex trafficking ring. Of course, PVH has never been particularly strict about HIPAA violations.

Whoa! It's not often on a soap (never, in fact, until NOW) that you see a guy with loose briefs that allow his package to jiggle around right there on camera! I am, of course referring to the muscle-endowed henchman/porn actor who grabbed Cassandra at the end of the show.

TAN: Speaking of muscle-men, My mother and I were out shopping and, as we waited for a light to change, we looked at a nearby strawberry stand. A man had gotten out of his car to go to walk up to the stand. The first thing I noticed was that his biceps were HUGE. He was modestly dressed and a little on the short side, so they might have been overlooked if I hadn't been looking at the strawberry stand at the time. I pointed him out to my mother. I noticed that his thighs were also bulging with an abundance of muscles and said so. Mom said "he's also bow-legged". He was. I told her that that was because his thighs were so huge that he HAD to walk bow-legged.

BC - Wed, 3/23/11

Bianca is an heiress and a business mogul in her own right.  She has big bucks and two small children.  Reese wants to take the children away (and possibly a lot of her money).  So what does Bianca do?  She hires a newly minted lawyer.  I don't think eBabe even has an office.  Her license probably hasn't even arrived in the mail yet.  She has NO experience whatsoever in divorce cases other than her own (where she just got fooled).  Hiring eBabe is a pretty stupid move for such a smart woman.

Why is Caleb even in Pine Valley?  He's a non-player.  All he does is stand around and brood and Michael Nouri is just phoning his lines in.

Erica and Jack have set a wedding date:  May 14, 2011 (a Saturday).  We'll see.

Did I miss an episode?  Nope, I see I did a Boogie Chillen for Tuesday.  All this stuff with Griff going to the casino and trying to force himself into Diana's office and consequently being beaten up seems to have happened off-camera.  I even went so far as to fish Monday and Tuesday's episodes out of the Tivo recycle bin to double-check.  The last we saw of Griffin he was about to escort Kendall to her car after it was verified that the fund-raising event had been canceled.

Wow, that was a loud snowball.  What are those snowballs made of, rocks?

What grounds would Reese have for getting sole custody of either ONE of the girls?  How heinous, irresponsible and unfit is Bianca as a mother that Reese would be able to do that?  And has Reese become a French citizen?  They have as much as said that the lawyers for Reese will try to get the girls back to France and the French courts will then give sole custody to Reese.  I'm under the impression that they are ALL American citizens, so why would the French courts favor Reese who, as it has been pointed out numerous times, has not even made the slightest effort to see the girls in a very long time.  Where has she been, prison?  If not, there isn't any valid reason for her not to have done so.

Here's a thought:  Reese may become engaged to a man so she can renounce being a lesbian and marry him (or at least SAY that's the case) in order to get custody.  Then she can attack Bianca as being unfit for still being a lesbian.  Of course, if push comes to shove, Bianca could do the same thing.  It wouldn't be believable for either one of them to hook up with a man, considering they are well-established as lesbians, but believability has never stopped the writers at AMC, and it would be a storyline they haven't done on AMC yet.  Reese might have a slight edge in that she at least TRIED to be heterosexual before she met Bianca, but Bianca has never been anything but gay, having only had one dismal date in high school to try to fit in.

Caleb tells eBabe that he doesn't really want to run Cortlandt Electronics without Erica.  Good.  Leave.

If Kendall didn't know Griff was in the hospital room with Cara and Tad, why did Kendall so boldly stride into it as it if were her destination?  She seemed utterly surprised to see him there.  She had to know Cara had just walked in, yet she didn't even glance at Cara as she strode in, making me think Cara was not the reason for her intrusion.

BC - Tue, 12/22/10

JAR sent a sexy text message to Annie while they were at BJ's, and she zipped over to their trysting room at the Yacht Club. He followed shortly thereafter. Wouldn't he have had messages and phone calls about the SEC decision that should have gotten his attention? I guess he ignored everything but Annie. Tsk, tsk.

Ryan arranges for a doctor to give Madison a complete and thorough medical exam tomorrow morning (re her shoulder gunshot wound), without even asking Madison. The doctor then informs her of that fact and doesn't even stick around to find out if Madison will be there, let alone if Madison gave Ryan permission to speak for her in a medical capacity or otherwise. No HIPAA violations there, no sir.

Okay, Madison? Sweetie? Let's have a talk. Here's the thing -- the next time Ryan insists on getting all up in your business, and pleads with you to EXPLAIN how you are feeling about him breaking up with you, you need to kick/knee him in the nads, because telling him in no uncertain terms (and "what about stay out of my life" was unclear IS no uncertain terms, as was the earlier part when you told him to stay the f**k out of your life) . Of course, most of Ryan's body is made of titanium, so even that might not have any effect. He's been known to bounce off cliffs, after all. Hmmmm. Well, short of cyanide (which would probably only make him burp and smell like almonds), I guess there really isn't much you CAN do. Just know that we feel your pain and would like to punch him in the face and/or kick/knee him in the nads as much as (and probably more than) YOU do.

Have you ever had a boyfriend/lover dump YOU and then have him keep pestering you to let him know how you feel about it, no matter how many times you tell him to go away and that you are very, very hurt by him? Me neither. Try to be friends, yeah; stick around after you tell him he doesn't have to and, indeed, to stay away? Nope.

You know that door slam was edited in when JAR took Melissa's hand, because neither one of them jumped when it happened. They just turned their heads to look.

Is Spike going to run away to look for Daddy Zach?

Okay, Madison. Sweeeetieeee ... Here's the thing. STOP GOING TO CONFUSION! Hanging out in a place where you will be almost guaranteed to run into Greenlee and/or Ryan on a regular basis is injecting yourself into THEIR lives. What part of "get the f**k out of my life" did YOU not understand? What are you, a masochist?

The Pine Valley Bulletin missed a prime opportunity when they left off "... AGAIN" from their headline of:

WILL ERICA KANE BEGIN THE NEW YEAR IN PRISON?"

Wait a sec -- are those DISCO BALLS over Erica's table in the background (to the left of the painting on the wall)?

Am I getting deja vu with that monster mask? Didn't Ryan get accused of raping That Kit Fisher Person (Jack's sister, aka TKFP) while wearing a similar mask, which was found in Ryan's room? The rapist turned out to be Braden (aka Just Braden), Ryan's brother. The DNA matched 50%, so naturally Ryan was arrested and tried for it, given such compelling DNA evidence .

Why is Jack telling Krystal that Erica surprised him last night by admitting that she thought Greenlee was guilty. It's STILL last night. It's STILL Halloween. That happened only a few minutes ago and then Erica went to Wildwind, alone, to celebrate Halloween with her family. Jack, who didn't want to be interrupted on his daughter's murder case, then went to Krystal's instead of staying home and working on the case. Later he went to Wildwind to spend the ultra-important holiday of Halloween with Erica. Apparently he's going to let Greenlee fry.

The thunderstorm doesn't seem to be making Erica nervous.

The doorbell had not finished ringing for even a full second before Bianca came into the living room and asked if she was the ONLY one who hears the doorbell. No, but you have the patience of a newborn, only you express it more quickly.

BC - Tue, 7/6/10

Why doesn't AMC have an audio library of babies/children crying that are appropriate to the ages of said babies/children? That always bugs me when they get it wrong. Today was one of the worst misfires. Jenny was upstairs and started to cry, so Opal left Liza in the entryway to go to Jenny. That "cry" sounded like it was coming from a 1-month-old! Jenny is over THREE years old now! I just googled Colby having to help deliver her and discovered Jenny was born in early April 2007.

When JAR was telling eBabe about the cottage that Uncle Palmer had left him, it sounded like he said that Al Capone had left him the cottage

Erica gushes over Bianca being back so soon from Paris. I didn't realize she had LEFT. I vaguely remember her saying something about getting back to the girls, but this is ridiculous.

If Kendall isn't up to running her company and can't even be bothered to KNOW about ANYTHING having to do with it, then why doesn't she just shit or get off the pot? Sell it and move on!

Annie tells JAR that the sooner she is not his drug of choice, the better it will be for both of them. She's right up in his face as she says it, though.

That's a pretty ineffective security alarm if Caleb can make it stop simply by hitting the wall three times.

BC - Tue, 4/18/10

Erica orders room service at her hotel in New York. It's completely silent in her room except for her phone call. She hangs up and walks a few feet to the open balcony, at which time we hear a cacophony of traffic horns, etc. Now wasn't that nice of all the drivers and people on the street to suddenly go silent JUST so Erica could make a phone call? And people say that New Yorkers are RUDE!

Why does Greenlee think that making it look like Erica was looting the non-profit Miranda line of cosmetics will be a GOOD thing? Yeah, it may send Erica down in flames and result in Greenlee winning her company back, but since it's all under the Fusion umbrella, wouldn't there be a backlash against the COMPANY for having crooked accounting and embezzling by people at the top? Besides there was already that incident where Petie and Adam poisoned the perfume with an extreme irritant, there have been murders of multiple people within the company, all the computers were wiped out (at Greenlee's behest), Greenlee was dead for a year, Erica went to prison for insider trading (as Greenlee mentioned), Kendall just took off after being kidnapped and on the run to keep from going to prison, etc., etc., all of which was highly publicized. Frankly, I would not put my trust in Fusion for either the soundness of their products nor the solvency of the company that's in the hands of such unstable people and their ridiculous whims and frequent crimes. They're bound to go out of business from one day to the next. Why find JUST what you like out of their product line only to have it be under constant threat of being discontinued?
